We tendered in from our ship that was docked in Bahia Santa Cruz!!!!! Such an unspoiled delight! The people are so wonderful and the town is so charming! A lot of resorts and time shares along the coast that we saw when we took a tour of the island! We will be back.

I was in Huatulco on a 38 night cruise from LA to Copenhagen on the Norwegian Star, and we had just visited other Mexican ports of Cabo San Lucas and Puerta Vallerta. Santa Cruz Bay is quite different as it's totally unspoilt at this point in time. The cantinas, bars and grills along the beach are welcoming and the food... More

Our cruise ship docked in Bahia Santa Cruz for only a few hours but the bus tour we took covered a large section of the coastline. Just about everything has a clean, fresh look about it and the dozen or so resorts we passed looked inviting. The main highway is modern and scenic. No big crowds or traffic. If I... More

This cruise ship harbour fills to overflowing when the cruise ships come in. The beach here is broad and beautiful and the little, open-air beachside church is an interesting and contemplative space. Beach side cantinas, grills and seafood restaurants, small cafes over the open square, a great coffee shop in the park and and lot of little open air stalls... More

Nice little place. Freidnly poeple, all stores are close together, good barganing and great selection. We were there during a fishing derby, and attended the fiesta marking it's end. Very happy people. Nice place to visit, short taxi ride from Barcelo or Dreams resorts. About 50 pesos one way

Had an awesome lunch on the beach, watched the cruise ship come in - neat town but vendors are a little more aggressive then La Crucecita, I guess because they hound the cruise ship patrons, it's just a tiny bit more expensive here than La Crucecita but still worth the visit.

We went here to hop on our boat to go fishing. You get to see the dock where the big cruise ships come in and it is HUGE! The locals are very friendly as well.

this is where the smaller cruise ships come in. one of our stops on our fishing/snorkelling/boat tour with Eddy. There is a walking trail into La Crucecita or it is a 5 min cab ride.

Another nice Bay to swim in. Not a bay to snorkel in. Do not go when the Cruise ships are in, it gets very busy and the prices go up.
