This bay/beach is located in the Santa Cruz portion of the Huatulco area. Great for swimming. Because the cruise ship dock is here, there are good restaurants and lots of gift shops in the area. Not for snorkeling and sometimes it tends to be less clean because of the dock and the marina.

This little town of Santa Cruz Bay is beautiful ! So clean....and great places to eat right on the beach! My husband & I would travel by taxi every night to Santa Cruz just to have dinner right on the beach. We would have our little tootsies wiggling in the sand as we had our beverage of choice & dined... More

Cruise ships come here so there are a lot of tourist stores and not the best deals. For the best deals walk away from the town center. when things start to look a bit run down start shopping. It is safe and far better deals

We had a great seafood lunch at a great little restaurant right on the beach/port. The floor was sand! Now that is rustic! ;) Prices were ok (a bit pricey, but to be expected, as many cruise ships drop anchor at this port) and the seafood selection great. Everyone in our party of 6 was very satisfied with their meal... More

This was one of the best beaches for swimming we came across during our trip in regards to the ocean waves. The beach is just a short walk from the Marina and I'm glad we'd decided to walk that way by chance! We had a few beers here and were sad we'd not decided to put our swim suits on... More

Nice marina and shops a small central park as well. There were shops and restuarants that seemed to cater to tourist mostly but good place to venture out into. I'd rather tour around here than downtown as we seemed to have better luck with food and gift ideas.

San cruz has a festival on Fridays and they also have a large amount of venders to shop from. They have the sunset cruise on a sail boat at night You can also go fishing from Santa Cruz.

Nice beach but lots of vendors that hound you as you walk by their stores. Cruise ships come in here so that is neat to see .

Santa Cruz has a ton of restaurants and seating available, along with a market and shops for anything you would need. The water is nice and there is some good snorkeling along the rocks. This is where the cruise ships dock every now and then.
