In Jan. 2007, I visited the Esther Pliego de Salinas Jardín Botánico near the grounds of Loyola University. (One entrance is from the university, and another is up the hill.). They are open sunrise to sunset, and admission is U.S. $3. The taxi driver apparently doesn’t take people here much, because he had to check the location with an older... More
