A group of us (12) just took the Acapulco Shotover Jet boat trip this November. The spins and thrills in the boat are fun, but the water is not. From the beginning we noticed the smell in the water , and then we saw the garbage floating near the dock. Our tour guide ( who was wealth of knowledge) told... more

I have been on the Shotover Jet Boats several times in Acapulco.. There are many prices listed online from 60 - 80 USD You can get the Shotover Jet Boat ride and a City Tour which includes the La Quebrada cliff diver show for $60 at Intersol Tours in Acapulco. http://intersoltours.com/Excursions/shotover_excursion.html more

It is SOOOOO worth your money. Im pretty sure this is only offered in New Zealand, Australia, and Acapulco. Go in your bathing suit cuz you will get soaked. Up to 12 people go in this crazy jet powered boat, about the size of 3 paddleboats put together. You can take pictures, just ask for a bag and the driver... more
