We went there on a Saturday not knowing that locals also enjoy a day at the beach! Was full in a matter of minutes. We had to pay for chairs and a palapa. Was an interesting experience. Never went back on the weekend.

the beach is nice and safe. the main thing to worry about is the current. getting out too deep is very dangerous and if you step into a hole, swim sideways, don't fight the rip tide. the sand is hot so plan for that. other than those things, the area is very nice we always go the private huts that... We went to Playa Revolcdero for the day. It is so different from the other side of Acapulco( Las Brisas). The waves are amazing and as far you can see it is just this amazing strip of beach and waves. Lovely.

If you want a long stroll on the beach this is a great starting point. I think you can walk at least 10 k without interruption along here. Maybe more. I will wear my meter next time to let you know.

The sand and beach is great, the undertow quite dangerous, you must take care. No place to park your car. Beach vendors again as in all Acapulco trying to sell you something all the time.

Liked the long wide beach, no one on it during the week, a few people during the weekend. Can't wait to go back!

Good for surfing, there is some current that may get strong. Very good food. There are a few ways of getting there the main one is from the main road from the airport to Puerto Marquez and turn left on the burguer king.

This is by far Acapulco's best place to swim in the ocean if you like waves. If you like a pool-like setting go to the main bay. Nevertheless a nicer development would be welcome, its a great example of the lack of tourism infrastructure in Mexico. Instead of some nice shades installed by the city (even if they were charged)... More
