We saw Capilla de la Paz on our day tour of Acapulco. It is absolutely the most beautiful view! A must see in Acapulco!

My husband and I visited Acapulco in June 2014. The Chapel of Peace was one of the first places we saw. When our guide Sebastian showed us the view from outside we were stunned at how beautiful it was. You could see the entire city and bay area. Inside the chapel was gorgeous and yet simple. This is a beautiful cathedral high up the mountain with a gorgeous view of Acapulco Bay. It's about $5/person handed to a man standing at the entrance/exit. We had booked a private tour and this was our first stop. We could see the cross from the airplane flying out which was neat.

We went up here as part of a tour package US$50 each on an air conditioned van- the hilltop view is worth a visit to enjoy the view of the bahia. The chapel itself is beautiful although we only had a quick view of the chapel. The whole area of the chapel itself is beautiful and what I would like to... More

We liked everything about the Chapel, the history, the different points of interest. Some of the chapel needs repair, so it didn't have much of a wow factor, but it's such a part of Acapulco history that we were very glad we went to see it.

The view from the church is amazing - you can see the entire Acapulco Bay. There is something about the cross that is spellbinding. The inside of the church is awesome too. The seating area is made out of wood even though it looks like stone.
