I'm always interested in architecture and history, as well as culture. The visit to the Chapel was definitely and intriguing experience, it also helps to understand the background story of how it came to be. My Tour guide was amazing and fully aware of its past and how it came to be of fruition. As I sat inside, I was... More

Beautiful views, statue and gigantic cross. Part of the Acapulco Highlight tour taken with Sabastian Hernandez. The views are worth the visit. Attended Mass on Sunday. It has a small gift shop. Church was built by a Frenchman to honor his two son that were killed in a plane crash. They are buried there.

Wonderful tribute to the family members who died in a plane crash now shared with the community. Many steps to the top and I could not climb the steps. My friend did make it to the top and he said it was worth the effort.

lovely and peaceful. Great aura and spiritualism that surrounds the area. It was one of those moments that draws you in and sprinkles you with hope.

I'm all for modern, but Capilla de la Paz seemed somehow cold and impersonal to me. The best part was the trip up the mountainous route through the modern homes of the wealthy.

Saw this online before we left for vacation. We went there and got engaged! It is a very peaceful and beautiful place. Atop Acapulco with a 360 view. Feeling close to God and at peace. This place has a sad but integrating history. The family that built it had the tragedy of losing two sons in an airplane accident. The... More

Our driver Miguel (Mayan Palace Taxi #37) explained the wonderful (albeit sad) history of the Chapel. On top of a hill with a wonderful view.

This was a very peaceful and beautiful location! Glad we took the time and went. Quick tour maybe 15-20 minutes but glad we went. We were fortunate enough to have one of the best tour guides in the city, Carlos Alegria Corona "Mr Happiness" as our guide to this wonderful site. Love the stories behind the chapel and the sculpture.... More

It's located in the highest point to appreciate the best view of Acapulco bay. There is a beautiful chapel, where you can go to catholic mass on sundays.
