My Fiance and I recently took a trip to Acapulco with friends of ours. I am not the best at planning ahead so we relied on the Concierge for a driver. We were lucky enough to have met Carlos Alegria Corona, Mr Happiness. his email is: calegriacorona@gmail.com. Having Carlos was like having our own personal tour guide. He gave us... More

When in Acapulco its a must t drive by the millionaires row and all the Acapulco mansions where celebrities such as Mike Jagger, Elizabeth Taylor and many others used to come in the 70s, now all the mansions have been re done by Mexico City New Millionaires. This cross is one of Acapulco's landmarks.

We visited this outdoor chapel on top of a mountain with a scenic view of the Acapulco bays and learned that the chapel was to pay tribute by the parents to two sons who died in a plane crash. The views from the chapel are phenomenal and someday I'd like to return to hear the acoustics of prayer and song... More

This Chapel and the Hands Sculpture are a must if you are a photographer. The Cross and Hands are awesome. The History of the Chapel is worth learning and the view of the bay from up high is grand.

Quiet, serene place with awesome views! Bring your camera! A must stop in Acapulco. The history of the place is a very sad story.

This chapel is a non-denominational chapel that was donated by a wealthy family who are also interred on the site. If you take a bus tour I am not sure if you will see this because the road is so narrow and there is almost no parking. You want to hire a guide like Roberto Alarcon (on TripAdvisor) to see... More

The tranquility and the view and its history. Huge 100' cross was built to honor the memory of two sons lost in an airplane incident and the chapel was built by the husband to honor his wife who died two years later.

The chapel is included in the Historical Acapulco Tour. It is Situated on the top of a hill where all the rich and famous live. The site is a popular site for weddings and I can definitely see why. Photography is allowed as well.
