Beautiful monument. Touching family story behind it. Loved the onyx windows and the ironwood seating. Great view of Acapulco Bay. Nice grounds overall, especially from a horticultural perspective.

These things aren't really my thing. But the views from up there are fantastic. There is a little bit of a walk to get up here but it's not to bad.

The chapel itself was pleasant but unremarkable; the architect was important, and it looks kind of like a pineapple, but inside it is basically a lot of concrete. The grounds are pretty and well maintained. The cross is iconic, and it is kind of interesting to see up close. Our tour guide told us it is about the same height... More

I was blown away with this stop. To hear the history of this chapel and surrounding area made the visit that much more enjoyable. I was also fascinated with the homes surrounding the chapel. This is a must see, when you visit Acapulco.

The view from the top itself is a spiritual experience. The story behind the church is moving. Talk about paying it forward!

The best way to see Capilla de la Paz is on a city tour with Baldo Gomez. You can find Baldo by searching on Google with "Baldo Gomez Acapulco." The church is a modernist style made of steel, concrete, granite, onyx and cherry wood. The bronze sculpture of grasping hands is great, but the immense cross steals the show... all... More

The view here is amazing! Apparently number 5 in the world. It's a bit of a hike up the top of Las Brisas - go with a guide who will tell you the history of the place - we recommend Sebastian at Acapulco for all http://www.tripadvisor.ca/Attraction_Review-g150787-d3667302-Reviews-Acapulco_for_All_Private_Day_Tours-Acapulco_Pacific_Coast.html

Best view by far of the bay. Great history of this beautiful chapel of peace. The perfect name for this place very peaceful all the way at the top of a " mountain" Carlos our driver and tour guide. We live in Alberta which is known for the mountains.

Sebastian was our personal driver for the week we visited Acapulco. We visited the Chapel of Peace as part of his City Highlights tour. Sebastian personalized this tour for my wife and me by providing a deep and rich history of the Chapel. He walked with us and provided the story of it's orgin and the current status of the... More

Probably my favorite spot we visited in Acapulco! We landed at the airport and did a tour with Roberto Alacaron (who is wonderful and I will review him too, in another area) and immediately went with Roberto on a tour in the Diamond area before our check in at the hotel. We visited here on a beautiful day and the... More
