We go to Puerto Marques every year. People so friendly and honest. Feel very safe. Love to stop for beer, sangria, and sopes. Some of the restaurants were wiped out in the hurricanes in Sept, but many are still there and in good shape.

Went here to snorkel and lay on beach for the afternoon. Once again Senor Baldo!!! Hooked us up with hugo and his boat! This guy is a fish! He took us out to the mouth of the bay to snorkel and it was great! Once again not the crystal clear water of cancun but very nice just the same!!!

We have been going to this area since 1980 and have faithfully followed our favorite waiter from restaurant to restaurant. Cheato is our man!!!... However, we felt really guilty this year because we found "Blue Water" and we could not resist the owners and staff not to mention the oven baked pizza and fish.... They even let us bring our... Ok Ok and Blue Waters restuarants are our favorites. Cold beer and good food.. Beach is little hard to walk in this area as the sand is soft. Nice to change it up once in awhile out of the city.

My annual trip to Acapulco is not complete without a taste of the unique shrimp quesadillas that they make here. Crispy and light. I love them. A nice beach here but a bit overwhelming sometimes with the vendors. If you are firm with your no thank you right away they don't get pushy but if you express an interest some... More

This is our 2nd visit to Blue water in just over a year and happy to say the place is still there and planning to add to the location. We were able to get there from mid bay in about 25 minutes as traffic was non existent on this Monday morning. We were there for breakfast and a late afternoon... More

Rent a boat, and take a trip around the bay for US $ 100. The locals will tell you all about the houses of VIPs at seashore, and some special rocks (SeaLion, The Frog, etc) You can land at any of the small beaches and have lunch!
