Where the best resorts are (Mayan, Princess, etc, etc). Unless of course you own a nice loft over there with beach access. ¡The traffic in holidays is hideous!

It's a peninsula that stretches for 25 km. Of dark blond fine sand without alguays and rocks. The surf breaks 100 m. from the beach so that children can safely play in the water. On one side there is a lagoon and on the other is the ocean. There is usually a fair wind and the beach is always more... More

Since we stayed in Punta Diamante we went to turtle preserve neatby. It's not a fancy preserve - just a snall house where volunteers find sea turtle nests and move the eggs to a preservation area where they can hatch out of danger. They then release the baby turtles to the sea where only .001% will survive. There is a... More

We go to this location every year. We eat at Chez Memo's. We are known there now, been going there for close to 10 years. Pescado a la tailla is great accompanied by a poutine. And yes, Guillermo speaks excellent French. Strongly recommend this place to all Acapulco visitors.

It was crowded (new years eve) but calmed, not soooo many vendors, nice sea and waves (family friendly), though the sand is thin and you carry it back home

You can go into the water with no fear of the waves pulling you in, different types of restaurants and things to do.

Diamante bay is the best area to stay for a holiday. Food was outstanding, the CAMINO ROYALE HOTEL is under renovation, they are slow but updating is needed.

our hotel is located in what they call, Diamante Beach area. You can walk for miles and feel secure. We took an early walk around 6:30am to avoid the heat, well at 32 degrees everyday, it is hot for sure. The weather is perfect first thing in the morning and good for strolling the beach.

We stayed in a resort on this beach and spent a lot of time here. Great for walks or runs. I saw some people surfing and you can rent surf boards on the beach. Definitely a lot of waves but pretty shallow past the breaks. There was a relatively strong current throughout our vacation so children need to be very... More

Great gateway beach, nice new developments, La Isla shopping is near and you can find good places to eat.
