My fiancée is from Mexico and we have been to most of the top beaches in Mexico. Revolcadero beach is about 3 miles long and it is the best beach we've seen in Mexico, although we still like the Mayan Riviera and the Cancun area. There is good surf and little development, except at the north end where they are... More

Revolcadero beach is definitevely a great beach to take a bath... Quite, with soft tide, and fine sand that will help you to take a good bath... Very clean and despite the sand is not to white, the water is crystal clear...

Not to safe right now...the road isn't paved or lit so it is better to go in groups for security sake.

The Punta Diamante area affords an upper-class shopping and cultural experience. Nicely located near the airport, you can visit if you have a long layover in Acapulco. Great shops, food and outdoor sculptures. Definitely the opposite of old ACA!

The weather was glorious...especially after the winter we've been having in New York! The Mayan Palace Resort/Grand Mayan was beautiful. The grounds rivaled any tropical botanical gardens we've visited! The facilities are well-maintained and sparkling clean, staff was terrific and there was no pressure to take sales tour. The pool at the Mayan Palace is truly amazing...so many nooks and... More

This area in Acapulco was one of the most luxurious places I visited while my stay. It was the new Acapulco, with all the high end hotels and shopping plazas, new housing development. You could find a Sam's club, very well stoked I might add, a nice movie theater, and a couple of restaurants along the main boulevard. The beautiful... More

We liked seeing the harbor and surrounding area, wish we would have had time to enjoy it more. Our tour guide Baldo Gomez did a great job showing us as much as possible for one day.

Acapulco is an interesting place. Nightlife is awesome and eventhough the beach is not so clean everywhere, the view from/ to the bay is beautiful. I guess it depends on what you preffer, I love the beaches in the Caribbean but you cant compare those waters to any other in the world! This is the Pacific Ocean so the water... More
