Acapulco has received some bad and undeserved press of late. People give too much credit to the media that tends to exaggerate and make the exception the rule. Acapulco is a town that in its heyday was the creme de la creme of vacation destinations. It has suffered from some government neglect of its infrastructure but it is recovering nicely.... More

If you can't find it along the Costera it probably doesn't exist in Acapulco; well almost. We heard Home Depot was not on the Costera. We loved it, shopped there, ate there, got our crafts there and our hotel was there. Probably the best location in Acapulco especially if you like the busses or want to keep taxi costs down.

Costera has been for many years the place to walk from bar to bar or hotel to hotel being mostly safe, enjoy the walk between 6-9 p.m. and you will not have any problems, usually full of police keeping order just exercise caution at all times.

This is considered the main drag of Acapulco. Buses and taxis abound, along with shopping and restaurants. If you miss home, you can find Applebees, McDonald's, and KFC! The American university is on Costera d"alleman, along with malls and casinos. Great spot for marketplace, mall, and boutique shopping. There's something for everyone!

Walking on the costera is like a gift, you can discover part of the city.So many restaurants, bars, stores, you can choose as you wish. It has changed with the years but always something new to see and to tell the truth it is a lot cleaner then it was many years ago. We have to go back!

The costera surely isn't what it used to be even from the late 80's but it still has the appeal that stretch from the Calinda area to just past the Diana near the Emporio hotel. There are as many bars, restaurants and stores as any other destination you will find and loads of fun all in between!! Visit Acapulco you... More

When driving along this road you will see and find anything and everything for your stay in Acapulco. It stretches al along the Acapulco Bay. You will find restaurants, plazas, hotels, night clubs, pharmacies. It is as important to Acapulco as the Vegas Boulevard to Las Vegas, Nevada

Here you can find all type of restaurants,to stores, shopping centers, bars and clubs .Several hotels from different ranges and ratings.Easy access to public and private beach fronts.A little hard to find free parking spaces. Very safe with lots of Federal Police Officers patrolling day and night. In other words lots of fun when on vacation.
