We love this place. If you like to hike head to the far north end of the beach and then follow along the based of the hill to the left. After a very short distance you will come to an old road that was cut into the hill. Not at all drivable but plenty gud for a hike up to... More

I was told by my friend in El Pescadero that this was a great place to swim and relax for the day, and she was right. To get to this beach oasis you will need to make a sharp turn off the highway onto an easy to miss bumpy dirt road. After advice from others we left no valuables in... More

The first time my husband and I went to Las Palmas we shared the beach with another couple and a small herd of local horses. Was magical to say the least. The water is clear, sparkling, swim-able and the privacy makes this beach a complete treat.

I've been coming here since I was 13...I'm 34 now and back in the day we (my family and our friends) would be able to camp and live on this beach. About 5 years after that they closed it down to campers and allowed daytrippers only so we bought a lot in town and continued to visit here every year.... More

If you do not have a 4wd, then take the dirt road after KM 58. We had a mid-size car and turned around. A couple in a compact passed us and said they were there yesterday; we didn't want to chance it.

Drove by 4 times before we found the turn off to the dirt/sand path that takes you to Palm Beach. Followed the instructions in the tourist guide, but even that didn't help much. Not even sure what to tell someone as to how to find it, but do try. It's a small beach and one of the more swimable in... More

I love the nice walk throughout the palms to get to this beach. Be ready to carry it in and out. Enjoy! (Do NOT leave valuables in car!)

Bring in everything. Short scenic hike. Make sure no valuable left in your car to tempt thieves. This beach is heaven. We sat and watched the whales and waves for hours in mid February. There are no facilities, bring water, beer, lunch, and a camera. We still talk about our two hours hanging out. Just awesome. It is an amazing place and... More

You need to walk a little to get to it, very easy walk, and you arrive at this open, huge beach that had no one there when we went, seems more of a local spot, so no tourists or people selling you a massage, jewelry etc. No bathrooms, surf rentals or food either. Must bring your own umbrella, no shade... More
