My husband and I first visited Pretty Horses in May of this year. We loved it so much we went back on July and adopted our first Pretty Horses family member, Ebony Beauty, a BIG, beautiful Percheron mare. Since then I come to the ranch almost once a week, visiting the animals and spending time with Krystal and the rest... More

Crystal is the founder and guide. She has dozens of horses that can accommodate all skill levels (from no experience to very experienced) and group sizes. She is very friendly, patient and eager to share her passion for the animals (horses, dogs, goats, chickens, ducks, pigs, cats, etc.) with her guests. She's happy to engage in conversation during the ride,... More

Can't say enough good things about this not-for-profit business. Krystal and her partner Daniel are kind and generous hosts who totally love horses and all animals in general. We stumbled across them after doing a little research into horse-riding near Rosarito for our horse-mad daughter. There are plenty of other places that offer rides, some of them a little cheaper... My 2 adult children and I spent a week in Rosarito in August. It was our first trip there. Horseback riding was a priority on our trip, but we were on a pretty strict budget. Having spent a few days at Rosarito Beach, we discovered that we could ride horses on the beach for only $10 each. But, despite several... More

We road here a year or so ago. It is a pleasure to see the improvements made in the past year. You can tell the donations for rides have made a difference in the lives of these animals!

Thank you for coming back to visit us and for the review! We've been working hard up here at the Rescue ranch for all of these horses and we have been blessed with growth! We are now up to 29 horses. The horses open pasture/ play area has improved. New stalls. Even a training arena. All of these improvements are... More

This wonderful place was recommended to us by the folks at Casa Farolito Bed and Breakfast: our accommodations while visiting Mexico. Since we did not have our own means of transportation, Daniel was kind enough to pick us up at a pre-determined meeting spot. Perhaps I should not mention how accommodating and easy this was for us motor-challenged and GPS-less... More

Hey guys Hello and thank you so much for the fantastic review! That was such a fun ride and a beautiful day for it! Its getting warm up at the ranch these days! In regards to the Whale sharks. Krystal and Daniel were incredibly friendly, the horse ride was beautiful through the canyon, hills, and riverbeds, the horses were well trained and comfortable to ride, the kids and adults enjoyed it - and best of all their cause is terrific. Highly recommended for anyone wanting an enjoyable family experience with great hosts.

I wanted my 3 grandkids to have a positive horseback riding experience in Mexico, so my son and I looked up horseback riding and found All the Pretty Horses as it came up on Trip Advisor. We called the listed telephone number and scheduled a ride with Irene who contacted Krystal, who was in town getting some supplies for the... More

Crystal loves her animals, and she wants to save as many as she can. Her horses are well-taken care of, and riding them is a great experience! And compared to US prices, mind-bogglingly affordable. I haven't been on a wine ride but my friends who have say it is really amazing too. Great for all ages.
