The scenery was gorgeous, the guides were friendly, helpful, professional, and made me feel safe, the food was delicious (especially the fresh fish tacos), and the happy hours were relaxing and fun. On my one-way trip from Loreto to La Paz the amount of paddling each day was perfect, the camp sites were nice and in beautiful places, and there... More

We did the Isla Espiritu kayak trip with our two teens 13 and 15. The guides (Guillermo, Ruben, Lino and Guillermo) were wonderful. Each brought a different perspective to the trip and helped us connect to Baja and Mexico. They dealt with all our fussy eating issues (one vegan, 2 vegetarians, one gluten avoider) without any sense of complaint (or... More

Sea Kayak Adventures offers several kayak trips in Baja, Mexico. My family and I took the 7 day kayak trip leaving from La Paz. I enjoyed the trip so much, I can hardly wait to plan my next trip with them. The trip begins with an evening orientation at the Seven Crowns Hotel (which is an excellent place to stay... More

Over the past 20 years I have traveled with some of the top wilderness adventure travel companies (BackRoads, Wilderness Travel, REI, etc). My experiences with Sea Kayak Adventures are by far the very best. My husband and I have been on 2 trips (Baja and Johnson Strait )and are currently scheduled for a 3rd trip (Galapogos)next month. Some of the... More

SKA is a very professional operation: they are completely familiar with the local culture, flora & fauna, they anticipate and meet travelers' needs, they are fun to hang with, and they can rustle up some really good chow in remote locations.

We did the combo trip (3 days kayaking in Sea of Cortez and camping on islands, then 3 days in Bahia Magdalena viewing grey whales). There were 5 of us 60+ fit women and we had a blast. Guides were fantastic, funny and extremely knowledgeable. Our grey whale experience (in early March) was unbelievable. We had baby grey nearly hopping... More

The guides were friendly, competent, helpful, local and conscientious. There was always one guide in attendance while we snorkeled or socialized. The use of local guides provided much insight into the history, culture, and flora of the area. They were most attentive to the weather conditions and the decision to change our last day to an mainland camping site to... More
