RED Travel Mexico provides world class conservation adventures along the Baja California peninsula and coast of mainland Mexico. Whether gray whales, sea turtles, migratory birds or mangrove forests, RED’s ecotours actively support preservation of species and habitat in addition to strengthening communities, celebrating traditional culture, and supporting sustainable local economies. Much more than a tour company, RED is a social enterprise focused on conservation and community development.

I absolutely recommend the La Paz City Tour-- Beyond the Malecon! We met up at 8am, and went walking through downtown. Jaime and his team of trainees were incredibly welcoming and very knowledgeable of their city's history. They showed us where to shop, where to eat, and where to drink. Afterwards, my boyfriend and I knew exactly where to go... More

From very young age I have camped in many places and I can say that, based on my experience, this has been one of the most incredible camps that I have ever been. The RED staff makes you feel at home, the food is amazing and the amount of wildlife is simply astonishing!

I had the experience of a lifetime with RED travel in Mexico. The guides were super friendly and accommodating. It was wonderful to be able to travel and see marine life without harming the environment. I recommend this trip to everyone.

We were lucky enough to get Manuel as a guide for La Paz and Magdelena bay on a recent trip. We went whale watching, picnicked on the dunes with some amazing food, went swimming with the seal lions, and swam with the whale sharks. Manuel is very professional, very knowledgeable, he has a passion for the environment and a love... More

I have one complaint about my trip - and that is it was way to short. I definitely didn't want to leave. Everything about the trip was amazing, the food, the camp, I evened had a small obsession with the outdoor composting toilets (is that weird...?). But in all seriousness I would not have wanted to see Mexico any other... More

Attended a trip RED Sustainable Travel through my work and it absolutely changed my perspective on vacation traveling forever. A full itinerary was planned to the most scenic and serene locations with unique activities to fully immerse in the local environment. We started the trip with our sea turtle adventure assisting members of Groupo Tortugeuro at RED's research camp monitor... More

This was my second trip to Baja, and it was the best trip ever! We went in mid-December and scuba dived with sharks and ship wreck (in Cabo Pulmo), swam with whale sharks and sea lions (in La Paz) and had four playful dolphins follow our boat! Everything was arranged through Red Sustainable Travel and a fantastic and friendly guy... More
