Manuel from RED was our guide for five days. He was fantastic:patient, thoughtful, informed, flexible and friendly. RED, working with our travel agents, Elevate Destinations, curated our visit to Baja, giving us an ecologically informed, sensitive and stimulating time. Manuel took us on a full-day excursion to Espiritu Santo Island, swimming with whale sharks off La Paz, hiking around La... More

Do this tour if you love nature and snorkeling. Swimming next to whale sharks was awe inspiring. Our guide, Pedro made sure we had a perfect day. He spotted the whale sharks, and later the sea lions for us. He explained the geology, history, anthropology, etc of Isla Espiritu. Suggestions- we departed the harbor about 9 am. The earlier you... Our first Baja experience was a week-long flying trip from San Diego to San Felipe, then down to Bahia de Los Angeles, over to Guerrero Negro and back. We had a great time and saw Finback and Gray Whales galore, but we wanted to learn more and have a more intimate experience. When we decided to return we knew we... More

Manuel and Captain Migel were awesome ambassadors for RED travel. Our experience was epic! Swimming with sea lions, seviche picnic on the beach, sea turtle and dolphin sightings were all amazing. The conservation based knowledge of eco systems, geography etc. were impressive. Manuel and Migel made the trip an amazing experience that we will talk about for years to come

This trip was such an amazing experience! We had the opportunity to get to know the locals in Sierra La Laguna and experience hand to hand their daily labor. The staff was amazing, the food, the fauna... As if that wasn't enough, on the last day we went to Espiritu Santo island and swam with whale sharks and sea lions.... More

What a wonderful day we spent with Manuel and Red Travel. From pick up at the cruise dock to drop off back there in the afternoon, this was an A1 experience. Manuel was waiting for us at the dock and our boat for the day was located 20 metres away. We travelled about an hour on the boat to Espiritu... More

We did a day trip to Espiritu Santu on our honeymoon and instantly wished we had done an overnight because it was such a great experience. Manuel was our tour guide and Miguel was the Captain. Manuel was extremely knowledgeable about the island as well as Baja in general and also very passionate about the mission of the company. Miguel... More
