La Paz to Topolobamp very efficient, smooth and safe. It's a truck ferry, not a vacation cruise

We booked our tickets online - to travel from Pichilingue, La Paz to Topolobampo, Los Mochis. Booking it on tehir website was easy and straight forward. Upon arriving at La Paz, we found out that there were some travel disruptions with our train travel from Los Mochis and had to change the date of our trip with Baja Ferries. We... More

If you can't climb multiple flights of very narrow stairs, have trouble carrying your own baggage, or have the normal aches and pains of getting older, do not take this ferry ride. it is easier to drive the distance than to put thru this meat grinder. Appropriate for truck drivers and poor people used to living on the streets.

Staff was very efficient and polite. Voyage was smooth, on time and no complaints. This is not a vacation cruise. This is a transport ferry so don't expect lots of amenities, but the cabin was super clean, fairly comfortable bed and even had nice night lights, plenty of hot water, a great shower. You leave La Paz at the Pichilingue... More

We took the ferry from La Paz to Mazatlan. We got from point A to point B, but it took some patience. We bought our tickets online - 2 adults in a sleeping cabin (very worth the money) and our car. We went to the office in La Paz to pick up our tickets. There was some confusion and we... More

We moved from the mainland of Mexico to La Paz, BCS, Mexico. We were greeted by Milagra at the office to buy our tickets. She was so helpful and spoke English. The ferry crew were so nice. We had rented a cabin. It has two sets of bunk beds and it was nice to have a shower and privacy. Of... More

The "Lobby" is disgusting and we waited 5 hours before being allowed to board. Family of six with kids from 7 to 12... Once on board everything is much better, but so far a regrettable experience.

Excellent, my my parents, one handicap with crutches and the other with a cane, were king and queen at the ferry. The staff ( included the personal where you get the permisdion for an out of coutry car and the ones selling the tickets) was amazing specialy with them, help and attention was always there. My sisters and myself were... More

We traveled from Topolobambo to lampaz, 12 hrs journey during night, it was so good, we reserved a cab to sleep and have shower for journey, it was clean, and ok. Cabs are small but enoug to sleep with individual beds, if you want to sleep during the journey and be fresh the day after is good, but I bet... More

The line was very short if you get there early. I am very glad I opted for the private cabin, I slept several hours. The food was not too great if you are a vegetarian. There was a bar that was fine. One tip, I heard the ferry was purchased from the French a few years ago, so bring along... More

We took the ferry from La Paz to Topolobambo, about seven hours. The ferry is not very clean or in good conditions. Having said that you can watch the most incredible sunsets and views in the ride. If you don´t mind the rustic experience you might be amazed by the views.
