We did two back to back trips with Baja Expeditions. The first trip was to see the whales from the Don Jose. The boat was much more spacious than I expected. Fortunately, we were given a larger room on the lower level. Food was fantastic. Great display of breaching by humpback whales. Terrific encounter with pilot whales and dolphins. Only... more

I sailed on Baja Expeditions Don Jose boat on 1 Feb 09, on a trip from La Paz to Cabo Lucas (End of the World). I had a very small cabin on the top deck, basically double bunks, a small cupboard and enough room to stand up in. Luckily I had the room to myself but I wouldn't fancy sharing... more

I first went on the Baja Expedition's Coastal trip for my 50th birthday. I decided then that I would do this trip every year until I was bored or too old to do it. In late February, 2007, my husband and I spent a week (6 nights) with Baja Expeditions aboard the Don Jose on their Whales, Whales, Whales trip from Magdelena Bay to La Paz. I have travelled throughout Europe, been on a safari in Kenya and hiked the Grand Canyon 3 times. But I have to agree with another couple in our group.
