One of the best excursion outfits in La Paz

We were on an Un-Cruise trip and they used this company to take us out to see the Whale Sharks. The boat was good size and there were about 24 people in the group; each group only got into the water one time. The day we were there the weather was not great (which I know they cannot control) but... More

We used FunBaja twice on our trip - once for scuba diving at the sea lion colony and once for whale shark watching. They also do other trips such as grey whale watching etc. They are not the cheapest - there are many outfits on the Malecon which are much cheaper. However FunBaja are very responsible, well organised and up... More

Recently we were in La Paz and had three trips scheduled with "Not so" Fun Baja, but unfortunately it was so windy the boats could not even get out of the harbor! Communication with their office staff was beyond horrible...nobody spoke english on the phone and we physically had to drive to the shop to get some type of information.... More

we went out on our last day in La Paz - with Donny and Angel as our guide and captain. we had a great time and were very impressed by their great boat (comfortable, not a tiny panga) and professionalism. They gave a careful briefing of how to swim with the whale sharks and took care to not harm them.... More

Did a short trip out from La Paz with them on a Un-Cruise excursion. We had 3 jump ins, which were brief. This is an interesting experience to see the whale shark if you're lucky enough to jump in the water at the right time. We briefly saw one when we jumped in the first time, and then because the... I can't say enough good things about this company. They took a large group of us out on the sea and had us swimming multiple times with the stunning whale sharks. We were out for about 1 1/2 hours and went into the water at least 4x to be with the sharks. Our guide, Edgar, was wonderful offering us bottled... More

Right off the bat I just want to say "please use Fun Baja, these guy's are professional and respect this prestine environment". We seen several other boats that were clearly not licences, screaming at the clients, rude, not at all respectful. They would sit back and wait for our guides to find whalesharks, then speed in cutting us off and... More

Firstly I don't often write reviews and I have dived for many years in many countries so have something I can compare my experience with diving with Fun Baja. I had 12 days in Laz Paz and travelled from the UK to do the Hammerhead dive at El Bajo. We went with Fun Baja on recommendation and I specified via... More

This company caters mostly to Japanese customers - divers, snorkelers and other visitors. The dive sites are very far from La Paz - at least 90 minutes - so the days were long. The staff on the boats (captains-divemasters) and the shuttle drivers were excellent and professional. Couldn't do enough for you. The office staff seemed a bit overwhelmed and... More
