We were picked up in La Paz for a one-day grey whale-watching trip to Magdalena Bay (3 hr drive each way). We enjoyed the Mexican breakfast en-route and the post-whlae watching seafood lunch, but the highlight was of course the whales - the bay was filled with them and the mothers and calves came right up the boat and allowed... My son and granddaughter did the snorkeling with whale sharks and the three day two night camping scuba diving trip. They also handled our transportation from cobo to la paz and back. It was amazing-the camping set up was great- food was wonderful and they were flexible when my granddaughter could not get her ears to equalize on the last... More

We had an amazing personal experience with the whale sharks. Would go again in a heartbeat. The friendly staff at Fun Baja made the experience even better. The "baby" whale shark we encountered was about 25ft long. Got up close and personal many times and have some amazing footage to cherish the experience. Highly recommend a good underwater camera. I... More

This was by far the neatest thing we did on our trip to Baja. Edith was incredibly helpful in booking the reservation. I don't have a lot of experience snorkeling so wasn't sure I'd be able to get very close but Erick (our guide) was super and helped me keep up, essentially pulling me along. My husband got face to... We did both the whale shark snorkel and the seal lion swim with this group, and they were wonderful. Let me start by telling you about my experience and then I will address some of the concerns I read about in other reviews. First off swim with baby seal lions, awesome!! So we were lucky enough to have our own... More

Seeing whales for the first time was so beautiful. The mother whales were swimming with their babies, It was such an amazing feeling to experience their joy. Being so close to the whales you really got an idea of their personalities. They're sweet, loving creatures and deserve to be admired.

This trip with Fun Baja was a last minute decision for us. Our guide was punctual picking us up from the hotel. We were only 4 people on the boat + guide and driver. The ride to the island was fairly smooth, coming back a bit rougher. Fun Baja seems to be more expensive than other companies, for that you... More

Well, it started off great! I emailed back and forth with Fun Baja and organized all of our trips through them, including a customized private day tour. They responded promptly and that side of things went smoothly. What I am extremely disappointed is the fact that we overpaid. I contacted Fun Baja immediately after our return back to the States... This was one of the best animal experiences we have ever had. We wanted to do this for years and now that we have done it can't think of a good reason why it took so long! Fun Baja arranged a driver (there were only 2 of us) and Samuel picked us up at our hotel in La Paz early... More

I've used Fun Baja on three trips now. They are professional, detail oriented, very convenient to the Costa Baja Resort (in the same marina) and easy to work with. The owner truly understands the dive industry. Fun Baja has the largest fleet of boats in La Paz, all in good working order. They also offer camping at Espiritu Santo with... More
