It's a bit rough if you are used to white sand beaches and rolling waves, but really nice. There are a couple of places to get food and drinks, also a bit rough, but great food and super friendly service! More

This beach differs from balandra because it is not a shallow bay. You can actually swim around. It too is absoultely stunning. There are services here. Book a panga trip ride to Espiritu Island through Diana down near the palapa restaurant that has a boat built into the back wall. More

We had visited El Tecolote about 15 years ago and had a nice time sitting at a palapa and enjoying the beach. This time it was packed with people - more young singles than families. The top of the beach is completely lined with restaurants. Lots of loud music, a beach soccer tournement going on. We walked up and down... More

Remote from La Paz. Food so-so but the beach and swimming is great with views of Espiritu Santos. Quiet, spent the whole day on the beach. More

We camp here 4 times a year with our Caravan Tours. Love it! The waters are crystal clear and the view of Espiritu is fabulous. More

We will visit in a 3 week period at least 3 times a week. It is one of the most quiet, natural, ocean beaches available to the public for swimming. Caution to the wind for sting rays. We witnessed one such event. More

Although it can be a little breezy Tecolote beach has everything you might be seeking with the possible exception of solitude. It is popular and you'll have the opportunity to purchase food and drinks. You'll also be able to relax by a sand dune or beachcomb undisturbed with your thoughts if that is your desire. More

We loved the view from this beach. However, dress warmly if the wind is blowing. We were freezing cold there in February. More
