Discovered this place almost accidentally. Talk about eating on the beach under a thatched roof and sand floor. So good we went back the next day for lunch. Really recommend the clams. They have a pen on the beach where the divers put the clams and when you order them, they go out and get them out of the pen.... More

Pichiligue Beach is another great beach. La Paz is blessed with great beaches outside the city that are really easy to get to and provide visitors with everything that one would need for a great day at the beach. Here we have really good snorkelling, a beautiful view, superb swimming in warm water and some really competent restaurants. In fact... More

The water at Playa Pichilingue is picture perfect. The beach is just on the other side of the ferry station and is fairly close to La Paz itself. My husband sat at one f the palapa-roofed restaurants while I snorkeled across the bay. The food at the restaurant looked very good-I saw a man walk into the kitchen carrying a... More

Have dinner and watch the sunset with the sand under your feet while nibbling tasty shrimp!! Large boardwalk to stroll on. The beach, during the day, also has palapa's for shelter from the hot Mexican sun

After staying in Cabo where we couldn't swim in the beach it was wonderful to take a dip in the calm, shallow waters of Pichilingue. Definitely worth the 2 hours drive from Cabo to get there. We followed up with dinner in one of the local restaurants in La Paz, but there were also a few restaurants right on the... More

The water is amazing, the rock formations are interesting and there is no booze sold so no partying and minimal litter. You can rent umbrellas and chairs/tables and you can buy soft drinks and fruit. You can also bring a picnic and walk (seriously) across the bay in the water to the other side and set up camp there! Perfect... More

Pichilingue is a beach with really calm water, there are not waves at all, it looks like a pool. There are not hotels at all with is good if you are trying to scape from really truistic places. I just did not like that the space between the bars or restaurant and the water is very reduce but that is... More

The beach here is rocky not sandy. There are restaurants on the beach provided a great fish taco and the beer was very cold! For sandy beach which toddlers will love -- try Balandra!
