Great wine!

If you're interested in the wine making process the tour I attended here did not go into depth about it nor show you how they process their grapes. But that was a-ok for me. The... read more

We took a shore excursion from Ensenada that took us to two wineries next to each other. The first was L.A. Cetto, the largest in Mexico and then this one, which is owned by a wonderful lady who greets all of her guest and thanks them personally. These were two extremes. One flashy, sophisticated and huge. The other small, basic... More

If you're interested in the wine making process the tour I attended here did not go into depth about it nor show you how they process their grapes. But that was a-ok for me. The wine here was tasty and they had small slices of pizza bread that was freshly made there. There is a store inside that has a... More

This winery is sort of Mom & Pop place as it's very laid back and casual. They have a honey wine that is absolutely delicious. I'm usually not a fan of sweet wine but this is an exception. Could almost be served as a liqueur. The jams and salsas are wonderful to sample too. The warm bread served with fresh... More

From L.A. Cetto, it takes 8 min driving to La Casa de Dona Lupe; this is family owned vineyard and not related to L.A. Cetto. There was no tour in this place and we went immediately to taste wine. Everyone got a ticket first and can sample up to 4 wines. I liked dry red wine and some people loved... More

This winery was the second stop of a wine country excursion we took while on a cruise...there's no tour of the winery itself - and that's fine. Head to the patio, taste some of the wine, but be sure to taste the delicious breads and pizza they set out - and the salsas...try it all! The vines are actually up... More

On a four day Carnival Cruise this was second stop on a two winery tour. The wine was not to my liking, though not bad. They have an interesting sweet red Honey wine. The highlights of this winery are the bakery and the wide assortment of spreads, jams, salsas, dressings, olive oils and something like tapanades. Sweet, savory and all... More

We were in Ensenada on a Carnival Cruise and booked a wine tour thru Shore Excursioneer rather than the cruise. It was cheaper and we had a private taxi to Valle de Guadalupe for the two of us. Dona Lupe is a relatively small winery that makes and sells jams as well as organic wines. We tasted four reds, all... More

Carnival Imagination Cruise Ashore Tour: We really enjoyed this winery, locally owned/operated - smaller winery. They have the perfect outdoor patio in the vineyard for sitting and tasting wine, eating cheese, jalapeno cheese bread (amazing, we bought some), jams, jellies and pizza. Perfect place to chill out. Really pretty winery as well. The patroness was lovely - the staff weren't... More

it had been 7 months since our last visit and this was our 3rd time to the winery in total as part of the cruise excursion- We could do without LA Cetto now and just come here as we love it that much. You can sample 4 wines or for me just the Honey wine 4 times ;) and the... More
