I was a cruise ship passenger to Ensenada. We decided to take an all day shore excursion which visited La Casa de Dona Lupe and one other winery. I highly recommend taking a group tour The drive from the cruise ship dock to the Santa Inez Valley is lovely - it follows the coast and then turns inland a few... More

Dona lupe serves wines, james, oils and salsa. They also serve Pizza in their restaurant. The wine tasting is very affordable and they serve a generous selection. Their Grenache was excellent and we picked up a bottle (again at a very affordable price). Their selection of Jams and oils were excellent as well. they had a generous spread for customers... More

What a gem! We were on a cruise excursion winery tour this October which was our first-time visit to Ensenada and the country's local vineyards. La Casa de Dona Lupe is a quaint winery with a family-style atmosphere. We enjoyed the visit and wine tastings that were offered along with cheese and crackers and various home-made salsas. Top it off......there... More

My wife and I visited La Casa be Dona Lupe during a recent visit to the Ensenada area. This is one of the only organic wineries in the area. The owner is a very charming 84 year old women who is one of the best hostesses we have met. The on site store offers numerous food products (hot sauces, homemade... More

I went on a trip to the Wineries in Ensenada with friends. One of our stops was at La Casa de Dona Lupe. I'm not a drinker, so the wine sampling which others enjoy, just isn't my thing. My friends wanted to eat somewhere else, but the kids were starving, so the kids at here. My son ordered the lasagna.... More

The breads, jams and salsa are wonderful. The Wine making is ok. Give them a few more years. But to be here and try the wines was wonderful. The staff is very friendly. The grounds are very unique. I was really glad I came ans spent some time here. Very authentic.

We took a shore excursion from Ensenada that took us to two wineries next to each other. The first was L.A. Cetto, the largest in Mexico and then this one, which is owned by a wonderful lady who greets all of her guest and thanks them personally. These were two extremes. One flashy, sophisticated and huge. The other small, basic... More

If you're interested in the wine making process the tour I attended here did not go into depth about it nor show you how they process their grapes. But that was a-ok for me. The wine here was tasty and they had small slices of pizza bread that was freshly made there. There is a store inside that has a... More

This winery is sort of Mom & Pop place as it's very laid back and casual. They have a honey wine that is absolutely delicious. I'm usually not a fan of sweet wine but this is an exception. Could almost be served as a liqueur. The jams and salsas are wonderful to sample too. The warm bread served with fresh... More
