First off, I want to say how flexible Miguel was. Our cruise ship got changed twice, and we wanted to be able to do another activity at 12, so he adjusted his times just to be able to get us in. We walked to Costero Blvd past the cruise port like he suggested. He had parked a street back but... More

I had a blast learning to surf with Miguel. He picked us up at our cruise and it could not have been easier. Miguel was really nice and fun. He even told us about the history of the margarita and dropped us off at the birthplace of the margarita where we all drank one and then did some shopping before... More

Miguel was a wonderful surf instructor and one of the most friendly people you could meet! I would highly recommend spending a few hours of your time learning to surf with Surf Ensenada. Miguel picked us up at the pier and took us to the beach just down the road. We had lessons with wet suits, surf boards and water... More

On a 4-day Carnival Cruise, I opted to do something other than the cruise recommended excursions. I found Surf Ensenada on TripAdvisor and sent off an email. I questioned if my weight (255 lb) and fair physical shape. Miguel replied back the same day, he told me he had a board that would work, can show me what to do,... More

My husband and I took our family of 6 on a Carnival Cruise and booked surf lessons directly with Miguel. He picked us up at the dock and took us to a great surf spot! We had a blast with him! He was able to manage teaching myself and my children (husband already surfs) to surf with ease. The kids... More

Went on a 4 day Carnival Cruise from Long Beach-Catalina-Ensenada. The highlight of our trip was surfing in Ensenada. We had 4 beginning surfers on our party. Miguel was the best!! He picked us up in a surburban that holds 7 about 5 minutes away to the Ensenada beach. The waves were perfect and NO ONE around. The beach had... More

My family and I took the 4 night carnival cruise, that had a stop in Ensenada. My boys and I surf, so we did not need lessons, only needed to rent some gear. I reached out to Miguel and he offered the very reasonable rate of $20.00 per person to rent the gear for 1/2 day. Price included pick up... More

My family had the pleasure of spending the day with Miguel and Martin of Surf Ensenada. Everything was perfect! From the beautiful gold-flecked beach to the weather that had to be ordered up from a catalog, Ensenada is gorgeous. The town, itself, is typical of any smallish-to-midsized city, except that it has beachside cliffs and nearby wineries and incredible fish... More

My son and I returned from a cruise that stopped in Ensenada. Not seeing anything that was specifically 12 year-old friendly on the excursions offered by the cruise, I took Tripadvisor's advice and contacted Miguel to arrange a surf lesson. It was easy to arrange, good value and a great time. Although we are not ready for the pro circuit,... More
