This is such a unique experience, we've gone there twice and we'll be back.. The best place to stay is right on the beach, at LosVientos Resort --(north end of town) Cannot say enough good things about this place - the food and the service is great and right on the beach!

Loved it , well worth the drive. People are nice , as well as the people who run the camps. In the summer it does get hot like in the 100s , but if you got the ice, then your fine, that and if you brought your bikini, haha. No, but really a place worth going. The drive there is... More

I go down to The Bahia 2 or 3 time a year for the last dozen or so years. Let's start off by saying this is probably the fishing experience my grandfather had in Baja in the 1950's and 1960's. The exception is the quality of the Pangas and super pangas that also have bait tanks. It is a 7... More

Bahía de los Ángeles is on the Sea of Cortez side of the Baja California penninsula. Not on the main highway, but the side road is well-paved, or was in July, 2006. The area is very thinly populated, but the town has a grocery store and several abarrotes, as well as several restaurants. There's even an Internet café. You'll want... More

Just got back from a trip to Bahia de Los Angeles. I just wanted to add an update to the earlier review of the 'Los Vientos Spa and Resort'. It has a lot of potential that it is not living up to right now. The decor is attractive and the beach is very nice. The room was air-conditioned and it... More

Just returned from a trip from Bahia de Los Angeles during July '05. We never heard of the place until about a month ago and since we were planning a trip to Baja we thought why not get away from the old standards (San Felipe, Ensenda, etc.) I'll start with road conditions; they were excellent. Of course it's two lane... More

I just got back on Wednesday (4-16-03) from a 3-day trip to the bay. Road conditions are status quo, seems to have been rough-surfaced about 20 miles out from the bay in preparation for a smoothing out (... likely within the next ten years), with a usual nasty section to watch for the occasional large potholes. There was at least... More
