Hands down the most amazing place, I've ever been for user friendly wave sailing. So fantastic, I've been returning yearly for over 18 years! They take all the hassle out of camping, so you spend your entire time playing! It is truly magical! Thank you Kevin!

15 years ago I visited Kevin Trejio at Punta San Carlos. Now 20 years into a life long dream - he continues to create a magical experience for the extreme athlete. There I nothing easy or safe about Punta San Carlos but it is one of the most beautiful, challenging and rewarding places you will ever visit. I learned to... More

WHO IS IT FOR: If you are into wave sailing, esp down the line, side off condition, this spot is it. If you are B&J, slalom, leasure sailor, you probably won't enjoy it as much and there are much better destinations (the Gorge, Hatteras, Maui, Cabarette, etc etc). If you or your partner like glamping in remote location with basic... More

I have been traveling to PSC every spring for more than 15 years. This place has the most user friendly down the line wave(s) you could imagine. Now that we can fly in from San Diego, the trip is way easy. Jump on the Cessna with Mike or Jose, bring your harness and wetsuit (+ a few more clothes), and... More

My husband and I just returned from Solo Sports and I can't say enough about how amazing, comfortable, different, and awesome it is! Kevin and his wife, Kathy, have built an incredible "Glamp" that couldn't be in a more beautiful spot. I surf and my husband windsurfs, but there's so much else to do there it boggles the mind -... My husband has been going to this spot for over 20 years. I'm not the best of 'campers' - I love my luxury way too much but I decided to 'brave' it and go see what he has loved all these years. I also knew that Kevin and Kathy have been upgrading the camp for many years. We drove down... More

We came for windsurfing and mountain biking and those were excellent, but we got to try different adventures every day also: trail running, hiking, surf kayaking, surfing, and stand up paddling. The staff is attentive in good ways--not hovering, but the moment you need something they realize almost before you do and they are there to help. From redoing the... More

This is the second year we spend our extreme holidays at SoloSports. These guys have the place dialed and they set you up from head to toes with everything you need in terms of surfing, SUP, kitesurfing, windsurfing and mountain bike. Solo sports turns a harsh spot into a super comfortable and radical holiday. You need to love waves, wind... More

With the whole family this time. 9 year old son was thrilled by surfing, tide pool exploring, and his first single track bike riding. 13 year old daughter loved the surfing, sitting in Ginger reading and daily bike ride on Dad's. My wife and I SUP surfed most mornings and often in the evening also. I wave sailed almost every... More

I was told about Solo Sports, Punta San Carlos adventure camp, last year by a couple friends who had made the trip in August, 2011. They couldn't say enough great things about the place. So, with that, we decided to go in August, 2012. None of us are windsurfers or kite surfers...surfing is our thing...The place has a great set... More

Thanks Len, you forgot to mention that you make a mean Manhattan! In fact, I would have to say you are the best guest bartender we've ever had here in camp! Who else would travel with his own shaker and martini glasses, a true trained professional complete with epic stories! Just give us a little time to recover and come... More
