Very quiet beach. It's only 5 min from Ao Nang beach. But it's more quiet cause there are not many boats as at Ao Nang. Across the street, there are plenty of shops, restaurants, cafes...

All the way to the right of the beach, near where the tour companies launch their boats, there is a sandbar beach. You have to walk out to it, but the water is clean and it isn't super-crowded.

This Beach is a very short distance from Ao Nang Beach, but much nicer. Far less hype, but still lots of little restaurants and bars. The Ferry Terminal is also here. The tide goes out a fair way as it is shallow here, but still absolutely beautiful.

Very nice beach in Ao Nang, not as overrun with long-tails and speedboats and tourists as the more popular Ao Nang beach closer to the city center. Very popular with locals. It is very long so you can enjoy a nice walk, or even a morning run. Very shallow water though and therefore not as easy for swimming. There is... More

Visited this beach whilst waiting for a ferry to our hotel. This is where the locals go to, lovely soft sand until you reach the water where its all small shells so sandals a must. Also a bit of rubbish as its for the locals. Some shops directly behind and a small park there.

Lovely long beach. Not busy like the town beach. Plenty of shade under the trees. The far end where you have to wade through the sea has great views and powder soft sand

The water is muddy not ideal for swimming. There are numerous long boats along the shore line coming and going all day and does not make a peaceful beach to relax on the beach.
