During low tide this beach offers a lot of fun for children. Because it's so shallow there is plenty to do. Searching for small fish, crab and so on. Behind the beach there are plenty of trees so you can easily find some shadow. The water might not be the clearest, the restaurants not the most luxurious but at least... More

If you want go go for a stroll, this is the beach it is probably 2km and even stretches around 2 islands. Not the best place to swim as you need to go out very far to even get the water above your knees. Love this spot. Also make sure you visit Lunar Bar and catch a drink.

Lovely shady areas for family and shallow water for kids. Good food on stalls. Lots of activity going on up the north end closer to the pier. Tsunami monument in the bush with the boardwalk is heartwrenching to see.

Took a motorbike ride to the beach where there wasn't many people and enjoyed a relaxing day swimming, shell finding and sunbathing. Over the road was plenty of stalls selling food which was cheap and delicious.

Dirty, smells bad, a lot of rude locals ( they were taking a picture of my gf ). When you enter into water you have to go for 300m, yes 300m if you want water to be deep more than 1m. We just left after trying to swim in 1ft of water

The beach is very quiet with a huge back drop of trees for shade. There are lots of inexpensive shops and places to eat across the road behind the beach. Be warned the tide is huge and not always close by for a swim. the best place is at the far end away from Ao Nang itself.

The beach, as most beaches in Ao Nang, has a huge tide and so the best swimming is at high tide, but then the water is not clean. The beach is good for walking and jogging and relaxing. It is more favoured by the local Thais. The restaurants along the strip tend to me a little more relaxed and in... More

Not clear water, quite dirty beach. I don't recommend to visit there. The restaurants and shops were not that expensive than in Aonang beach

This beach is away from Ao Nang and much nicer. We went to the west end (farther away from Ao Nang). It is a nice place to spend a day outside with enough tree shade so that you dont get burnt. When the tide goes out it goes a very long way. It is difficult to get deep water for... More

This beach is definitely not a great beach if you compared it to the amazing beaches in the islands. The sand is not enticing, nor is the view. But I suppose is decent for in and out swimming.
