All the family take a class with Ya. She is a very fun lady and we laugh a lot. We learn a lot from Ya and the best part is we get to eat everything when we are finished cooking. Very good fun day, can recommend, great day!

Apparently you need to bruise most of your herbs and pound your spices before cooking them. Madam Ya makes Thai cooking seemingly simple. The class is easy to follow and there's quite a lot of hands on with the wok. At the end you get to eat what you cook and I think my cooking was really yummy :-)

Had so much fun at this class! Madame Ya is excellent and a lovely person. She gave an introduction to Thai flavours and showed us how the ingredients all worked together. The food we cooked was fantastic, really enjoyed it and one of the highlights of our trip to Krabi. Highly recommended!

I have had the pleasure of joining one of Miss Ya's cooking class close to Aonang. It was not only fun, educational and a great way to enjoy the holidays but also the best Thai food that I have ever tasted. I recommend everyone who is a tiny bit interested in Thai food to join her class - it is... More

Visited here as part of our honeymoon. It was a great trip out. They picked us up from an agreed location. Then we met the wonderful Ya. She speaks very good English and has a great sense of humor. The food was amazing, this wasn't down to me or my wife's skills but down to the lovely staff and Ya.... More

Excellent cooking school the ladies speek great English easy to understand and they are extremely funny. The food was delicious probably the best thai I'd ever eaten and I have been to Thailand 6 times. Recipes are easy to follow but take notice the way you prepare things. You get a recipe book to take home with you and Ya... More

Ya's cooking school was a great experience! My husband and I visited Ya on our second day in Ao Nang area, and loved the atmosphere of the class. We cooked very many dishes, and learned how to make thai curry from scratch! Very delicious!! We did take some food back to the hotel, but unfortunately, didnt get the chance to... More

To start with, what a wonderful lady ya is. She really does try very hard to provide a great experience but in my opinion does too much. Picking everyone up and dropping them off is great but I do think this took a little away from our experience as we were left at the school for some time while she... More

Ok, as any review I have done before about Thailand, the first step to enjoying your experience is: be cool! Smile to anything you would have been mad at back home (such as the pick up that lasted ages and get us late there). Once you've been step one: go to step 2 which is: laughing. About you and your...
