My boyfriend and I did the market tour and cooking class and it was great! The market was really cool to see but the cooking class was the best part! The food was amazing and they are so sweet! We are stuffed! Highly recommend as something different to do. They give you a cookbook to leave with also.

My husband and I took the late afternoon course tonight with James and it was a really good experience. He picked us up and took us to the market to show and explain ingredients then we walked to the cooking house. We chopped and cooked the night away (2 hours worth) and had the best food we have had during... More

My partner and I had one of the best activities in Chiang Mai with Palm at his cooking school. He and his team waited for us patiently at the hotel as we were late coming back from Doi Suthep. They took us to the local market where Palm showed us around and educated us. I had in my mind before... More

Hours of fun... Cooking again after 3 months was a highlight of our trip to Thailand. We learnt 6 different dishes each, great to see the finished product and even better to eat it!! A calm and informative chef made it really enjoyable, a must do ....

I hate cooking but I got really excited about this class and it was definitely a success. Our instructor was a nice gentleman who patiently explained all the ingredients and cooking components we were using and truly motivated us to keep on cooking the Thai dishes we had learned by sending us off with a nice booklet with all the... The tour started off with a walk around the local market. Our cooking instructor Palm was knowledgable and introduced us to a variety of Thai vegetables, herbs and spices. We got to see, touch and smell them which was a good way to learn about them. After that we took a local train ride to the cooking school, the train... More

the cooking part was really enjoyable and the food tasted great, however the market tour was to a supermarket, not to the local markets which was really disappointing.

We were booked on a full day course and loved every minute of it. Our instructor Palm was friendly knowledgeable and very funny. We started with a visit to a local food market got our ingredients and took a 20 minute train ride and 5 minute cycle to a small village where we could have a choice of cooking 5... More

This is the best cooking class I've ever taken, and probably the best you'll ever take, too. It's completely hands on--you get your own work station and everything to make fresh Thai food. Not everyone in the class cooks the same thing, because you can tailor your menu for the day and customize how spicy you'd like each dish to... More

I always fancy cooking classes, and they mostly make a holiday special. Not this one. I booked class 2 days before (normally more than sufficient time to get a class). My agent called my hotel on the day itself, to tell us that the bus would come to pick us up at 230pm instead of 150pm. After exchanging several calls,... More
