We arranged for a private night class as part of our tour and it was the best idea! Pear, our teacher, was bubbly, conversationally fluent in English, and very knowledgable. She was able to relate every ingredient found in Thailand to what we could find in the US and UK. Our group was composed of people from various cities so... More

We travelled in a group of three to the cookery course. We picked collected from pre-arranged pick up point and first taken to the market which was great to visit. Our class had 6 participants and everyone was encouraged to mix and we all had a great day and sampled each other's dishes. Our class was taken by "Pear" who... More

A couple of years ago I went to the Smart Cook Cooking School in Chiang Mai and loved it. We didn't have a chance to go there when we were in the North during this visit then saw they also had a school in Krabi. It didn't disappoint. They were extremely accommodating and even ran the class with just the... More

I wanted to do a cooking class in Chiang Mai but didn't have time so I was delighted to find this outpost in Krabi! The staff were super nice and arranged to pick us up at the docks since we were staying at Centara Grand (no vehicle access). The food was incredible and we had a blast cooking it! I've... More

We booked the wet market tour + cooking class. Got picked up from our hotel and was taken to the Krabi Market. Cat, our instructor, showed us all the different ingredients that is used in Thai cooking. The cooking class itself entails choosing 7 different dishes from a list. It was a very hands-on experience requiring us to do everything... More

Great fun, and great food. Our instructor Cat spoke great English and kept the class flowing smoothly despite our groups attempt to wander off. Seeing the Krabi local market to discuss food and what to look for was an added bonus. I can now safely say I can cook a darn good curry and a pretty great coconut soup. Something... More

We truly enjoyed our cooking class today. Palm was an excellent instructor and didn't tire of my many questions. He was very thorough in his teaching and the instruction was very individually tailored. He did a great job with our kids who participated as well. The food we made was fantastic - I can't think of enough good things to... More

I originally sent an email to book the class and didn't receive a response but I tried a 2nd time by having my hotel book the class it was smooth sailing after that! I was picked up from my hotel on time and my class ended up being intimate with only 2 other ladies. Our instructor Kat was wonderful, not... More

We spent a hot day cooking Thai food and had so much fun! It was interesting to see the market where the food comes from and hear some more about the ingredients. All was well explained and we got the recipes with us. Friendly service and nice atmosphere, can warmly recommend!
