I really enjoyed this beach, gorgeous to look at the beautiful limestone cliffs, and enjoyed (just watching) the rock climbers. We brought our snorkeling stuff, and we're able to see some small fishes, as t he water is nice and clear. There's also a place where people climb to, and jump into the water from about 20 feet up. If... More

Beautiful sunset and nice clear water. Not too many people after 3 pm. Before that, lots of tour boats are parked there taking tourists to the the Princess Cave.

BEAUTIFUL is the word! This is the beach you should go to if you have to go to one beach in Krabi. You can take a boat ride to Railay West and from there walk to Phra Nang. On the way, there is a very adventurous mountain climb/trek which is a must! Its a trip to the view point and... More

The beach can be accessed via long tail from ao nang. Or a short walk from Railay East beach. Its best to go early in the morning- youll have the beach and its beauty to yourself!- because from 11 o clock the crowds start arriving! We found a nice corner , spread out our mat and generally alternated between beach... More

We got a boat for the short trip here from Ao Nang. It was good to get away from the busy strip for the more relaxed atmosphere. We stayed on the beach for a while and just watched the boats come and go, so relaxing. We took a walk and watched some rock climbers, not for me but was good... More

The 1st place I visited in Krabi, and I loved it. Too many people , but still a good place to visit and get familiar with Krabi.

If you are staying in Ao Nang I highly recommend you to take a boat trip to Phra Nang. If you are two people or more it could be a good tip to rent your own boat and make a half day trip out of it and drop by Poda Island, Chicken and The caves on the same trip

There's a well organised co-operative of longtail boat owners offering tours of your choice to all the beautiful island and beaches nearby. Including the well-known (but overcrowded) Railey beach. Try Poda Island or Tup Island for a quiter beach (with wild, and rather cheeky monkeys) at Poda. Hold on to your belongings, or a monkey will grab your stuff!

Loved it here - absolutely beautiful... we took an early kayak from Railay and beat the horrendous tourist rush of longtail boats... well worth it - we had the beach to ourselves for about 30-40 minutes... Definitely worth a visit, but wouldn't bother if you are arriving on a tourist boat - it will be ram-jammed with another 500 people...
