Impressive ruin with lovely views in the right weather. When we were there, having done the nice walk from the car park in thick mist, there were hints of the views of the Loire. The castle is great to visit, all in ruins but worth an hour or so. Later when the weather was better we were down near the... More

The castle is small but in nice location. After more complex castles, this is a tiny one. No indoor decoration or anything like that. You can see another "castle" from the top of this one. There is a good parking place and good signs to find the castle by car. Beautiful river view.
