They had beautiful reefs but most of them is destroit and tge water isn't clear as the tourists standing on the corals. It's very sad that tourguides and organisations don't tell anytime the custoumers that it's forbidden to stand or touch the reef. I woukdn't recommend this tour. The yellow "mountains" are very beautiful.

If you want to see the couple of untouched (relatively) beaches in this area, try Koh Hong and the surrounding. We made a fantastic kayak tour, the water is crystal clear and transparent. They have some hidden lagoons here, simple amazing. Don't expect so many fishes.. We made several tours the surrounding islands like Pak Bia and Lading and so... More

Great beaches here and the water was so clear with lots of fish, great if you like to snorkel. Very shallow so good for children. The sand was white like powder and the scenery was beautiful. There is also a lovely lagoon you can access via boat, however you can't swim in the lagoon as there are box jellyfish so... More

Went to Hong Island via long tail boat with the family. It was crowded but the waters were clear enough for us to see a few schools of fishes swimming and waiting for visitors to feed them. There was a lifeguard present. We were glad that he wasn't sleeping because a few canoes rowed into the swimming zone and he... More

The island is an impressive rock formation surrounded by clear water and with a pleasant white sand beach. So of course there will be lots of people there. At 9 in the morning it was still pleasant, but by 11, well, time to leave! Bring cash: It is part of a National Park, so we paid 300B per person (about... More

We took a long tail boat half day excursion to Hong Islands from our resort at Krabi beach. What an adventure cruising through the most beautiful water to islands surrounded by the rock formations. A trip we will never forget being able to experience some of the most incredible beauty in the world!

Snorkelling is a must here, the crystal clear waters and coral formations teaming with fish are just gorgeous. Perfect white sand and tropical sun if you just fancy a sun bathe. If you can take a tour that also visits Paradise Island, which was slightly less crowded and also had an amazing array of sea life to snorkel among. Don't... More

Took the Hong Island Speedboat trip for Railey. Did couple of other islands before reaching the Hong Island. Its just superb. It will be crowded by the time you reach. Just head to the right most corner. You can swim with tons of small fish. Carry some breads for the fish. There is a toilet in the island. Pretty clean.... More

Hong Island is about 25 minutes by long-tail boat from Khlong Muang Beach near Krabi. We hired the boat just for two of us. Doog, our jolly boatman, was ready at the appointed time of 8 am. The boat ride was great and we docked at Hong Island jetty. We had to pay to enter, but were handed official "tickets"... More
