We went there on 26 Nov. Water was milky. Coral was dead and dull. Island was crowded. Good for photo but definitely not for swimming or snorkeling.

Booked a private boat trip through K-BUNK hostel, 8 of us went for the day and was amazing, even had ice box for you drinks and for extra cost can have lunch to take with you, snorkeling equipment on the boat provided too. There was no rush with this trip like the others and we spent the entire day chilling... More

We had a great time in this island. The white sand beaches were amazing. It has really nice snorkelling spots on the way from hotel. It was not very crowded and the kayaking around was an awesome experience. Do take kayking while you book your trip to Hong Islands

We took a long tail boat from Tubkaek beach where we were staying - managed to get a good deal at 2000 baht for the four of us. After a short ride we arrive at Hong island. My wife, who is a non swimmer was delighted when shoals of fishes swam all round her. Further out we did see some... More

We had a great day trip out to the Hong Islands. Seems to be a regular thing. Your long tail boat drops you of at a jetty, supplies you with snorkeling equipment and off you go for an hour or 2. There is a place to eat there but most people seem to be supplied with a packed lunch. The... More

I'm not actually sure whether this is the same Hong Island that I visited, however there are an awful lot of islands out on Phang-Na Bay that it could have been any one of them. We did some canoeing around here (or should I say that the guides did the canoeing while we sat in the canoes taking photos of... More

I loved this island for the lack of tourists. In terms of the waters, Phi Phi definitely has clearer waters but it could also have been attributed to the cloudy weather we were having that day. I'd recommend coming to this island after lunch for a more private and enjoyable visit.

Soft sand and clear water which you can see the fishes, good for relaxing on the beach and suntanning if you love it. Love scenery too.

We had a great blue sky day at Hong Island. The beach is beautiful. The sand is white and the water is green. However the visibility in the water is poor. Not much fish except for the common stripe fish. Well if you love white sand and green water, it is indeed a nice place to go. We booked a... More

White powdery sand and clear turquoise water are ingredients for a relaxing beach vacation. We felt so fortunate to be here and is even happier to experience the journey by a Longtail Boat. This is so culturally Thailand and the boat man even suggested we visit the lagoon which is a short ride away from the main beach. The entrance... More
