Has better snorkeling sites compared to the local islands if you want a half day trip and is short of time like we were. We decided to visit the Hong Islands as Phi Phi and Bamboo were too far away. Took a private longtail boat trip which cost the four of us only 1100 baht per person that included water,... More

Most scenic location I have ever visited. The waters are clean and beautiful with lot of waters sport activities. The scenic boat ride is worth enjoying. The limestone stacks give it a fantastic view.

Amazing snorkelling. We saw clown fish, puffer fish, tangs, parrot fish to name but a few. Great day out for the family

If you are planning to do a Hong Island tour I suggest you hire a private boat and start your tour late to avoid the crowd. We started our tour at midday and got to Hong Island at around 1 pm. The place was still packed with people but they gradually left by 2 pm. By the time we were... More

too many travellers have found this beautiful cresent beach with limestone stacks strategically placed. White sand and warm clear water full of fish a place to spend all day lying on the beach or swimming. Problem is tourists too many of them, they have even set up a proper pontoon to walk in on, years ago you were the only... More

Its a very picturesque island. Very scenic. Make sure you go early morning or late afternoon by a private boat or something so that you can enjoy this island when it is less crowded. Obviously, for the same reason, avoid weekends. If you can get your space and quiet, this island is truly a small piece of paradise. Go there... More

Hong was the last island we visited on our day tour. The place is picture prefect if it wasn't for the RUBBISH absolutely everywhere! There are plastic bottles, shoes, napkins, bags, and every other crap you can imagine floating! It was such a disappointment...made me really sad to see so much trash in what could have been one of the... More

We traveled to Hong Islands in July which was during the low season. We were lucky enough to had bright blue sky on the day we did the island hopping. Hong Islands have very beautify landscape. Less touristy and not as pack as Phi Phi Islands. It is a great place to do snorkelling where you can see colorful corals... More
