If you are coming from Ringlet, it is on your left before you reach the Convent school. It is just behind Oly Apartment in Tanah Rata. It is owned by the Tan's. This man is very passionate about his plants. It is a hidden gem in Camerons which you should not miss. It looks like a jungle outside but inside... More

As Cameron Highlands continues to succumb to over commercialization and greed, Tan's Camelia Garden is most definitely one of the last few survivors. Though it displays a sizable breed of plants, herbs & flowers, they do not charge an entrance fee of any sort. In fact, the owner Mrs. Tan, was very friendly and welcoming to any visitors who steps... More

A peaceful little haven in sharp contrast to the mostly poor quality commercial tourist ventures or poorly maintained natural attractions in Cameron Highlands. This is a garden to be enjoyed by those with a strong interest in gardening. So generous of the owner to share the garden with the public free of charge. Thank you.

Decided to visit it as I'm into plants and gardening. The garden looked quite wild and being in the evening near sunset, there were lots of big mosquitoes. Saw more anthuriums than camellias and post some photos here. Chatted with Mrs.Tan. Thankfully, husband and wife will get to stay on in the future although the garden may be reduced in... More

We stumbled upon a blog on the net with great reviews about the place. We were on our way back downhills when my wife saw the signboard and decided to pay a visit since we still got plenty of times to spent. When we arrived at the front gate, we saw no other cars in front, but still we enter... More

This garden, in the base of trail n10, is a very nice place to visit and to spend some time, observing the beautiful flowers. The admission is free, so enjoy.

Unlike the usual strawberry farm or cactus house, this is a flower and herb garden. Tan's Camellia Garden is run by Mr Tan, a very passionate man for his work. This place is not so commercialized like other attractions in Cameron Highlands. No entrance fee is required. He planted more than a hundred types of anthuriums here. Almost every anthurium... More
