I have been to this cave a dozen times on school trips and it never fails to inspire and amaze me. The guides are very knowledgable (although I have only ever had tours in French, so can't vouch for the English tours) and the cave is beautifully and imaginatively lit. The son et lumière show at the end is also... More

Go and see - just amazing! Spectacular caves - tied into geology of the area. The so called English guide was hard to understand but we just about got the gist of it. Lovely views and drives in surrounding area.

two attractions in one. The prehistory museum is very similar to the one in Les Eyzies. It is clearly laid out has some demonstrations outside. However the cave is outstandingly beautiful, full or colour, 700 steps down but a lift back up. Our guide was fabulous and conducted the timed tour in English. We were warned it was very cold... These caves are amazing. We've been to visit a few caves over the years, but these were by far the most beautiful once we've been to. Well worth the money!

The cave is beautiful, period. But the experience was somewhat ruined by our tour guide, who was shouting instead of just speaking loud. My daughter - who doesn't speak English - asked us, 'why is he so angry?'.  Furthermore, his pronounciatin was making it hard to understand what he said. The word 'meters', which is said many many many times... More

The cave visit here, as others have said , is well organised and the guide was good. We went down with a French speaking tour but I was able to follow most of the information (I think!) as the guide spoke very clearly. The stalagmites and stalagmites were spectacular with many different types and shapes. The lighting was well done.... More

We travelled all the way from Arles to see this cave. We especially avoided the toll roads in order to take in more ofthe scenary and it was a really nice drive up. It was a beautiful day and we had coffee and sandwiches in the park at the site. They charge you a few euro entrance fee which is... More

You can't miss this cave tour if you're in the area. I went in the off season so it was only a small group of us, which made the whole experience even more enchanting. The sheer scale of the place is mind-boggling and is by far the best cave tour I have been on. The tour is in French and... More

This was my first cave tour. It was amazingly beautiful inside, unlike anything I have ever seen. I was with friends who translated things into English for me. I think there was a specific time for shows in English, but most of the people I was with didn't speak it very well. The light placement inside is phenomenal, and the... More
