Owner description: Nestled in breath-taking Highland Perthshire is the unique visitor attraction of Iain Burnett Highland Chocolatier; home to the chocolate kitchen of award-winning Master Chocolatier Iain Burnett. The Scottish Chocolate Centre is also housed here, along with a gift and chocolate shop and Coffee and Chocolate House; the perfect day out for all chocoholics!Check out the Scottish Chocolate Centre; an engaging tour chronicling chocolate, its history, little-known facts and methods of production, ornamented by examples of Iain’s outstanding chocolate sculptures. Yes, the chocolate is every bit as inviting as you think it would be. No cheap european chocolate that is passed off as luxurious when in fact its not as good as the brittish purple standard. The chocolate is too die for. The prices are steeper than the toblerone mountain, but let's be honest, this is way off the beaten... More

We stopped here as I had past by the signs many times and was finally tempted and I was so glad I did. We stopped for lunch and I had the white hot chocolate which I would highly recommend. I also had the haggis and brie pannini, it was great and my partner had the carrot and orange soup which... More

Second visit here, can't drive past without stopping! Shop is beautiful, always has great music playing too. Some new products for Halloween and Christmas, and the window display was fab! Yes the chocolate isn't cheap, but if like me you appreciate really good quality chocolate this is the place to find it. Never visited the cafe so can't comment.

Me my partner and another couple thought we would check this place out. Can honestly say I left feeling very dissapointed. The two females of the group went for the classic hot Choclate which I decided to try, all it was was milk! Pretty poor for a place that specialises in choclate! I decided to have the pinini with brie... More

Found this place by accident, but so pleased we did, the chocolate is the best I have ever tasted and the service we received by a charming waitress in the cafe was first class. We were so impressed we called back later for a delicious soup and sandwich lunch. Fair prices, excellent service and chocolate to die for. OK the... More

This is the fifth time I have visited this place. The first three times the cafe was ok, the last twice it has been terrible. The cakes and scones were stale, even the waitress admitted it and did not charge for them. The garden center up the road has excellent fresh cakes and scone. I don't think his chocolates are... By chance, we tried the chocolate of Iain Burnett The Highland Chocolatier, and so we decided to pay a visit. It was worth the journey. Had a great taste of their Hot Chocolate, something to die for. Bought some chocolates and even got my favorite - White Hot Chocolate. Behind the coffee shop, they also have a fantastic gift shop... More

Good selection of snack lunches with interesting soups. Delicious cakes and chocolate treats. Lovely relaxing outdoor area to eat if the weather is fine and where you can take your dog. After lunch you can tour round the quirky gift area or purchase some of the delicious chocolate (which is made on the premises).

This is delicious chocolate. It's way better than your run-of-the-mill supermarket bar. And the truffles are outstanding. It is pricy, so this is really for the chocolate lover who doesn't mind spending more to get higher quality. There is a wide variety of chocolate products, from simple bars to gift boxes and tins. So if you love chocolate and are... More
