Stopped in here after a great day at moness spa. I could not believe how expensive this place was. Upon entering the shop there was an extremely well to do english gentleman and his wife, buying a box of chocolates for approx £70. When they left, the shop assistant looked at us and proceeded to put the free sample chocolate... More

Popped in on a personal recommendation by a family member. Very old fashioned lovely shop with extremely pricey chocolate. Obviously targeted to foreign visitors as no native Scottish person would pay that much for a chocolate. There was a gift shop was full of odd, various quirky items laid out in a large living room area. We went through and... More

The chocolate that comes out of Grandtully would put Wonkas oommpah loompahs to shame, every trip we try and get ganache for our son, the dark chocolate dipped cherries are my wife's favourites.

I was in Grandtully on the way to spend New Year with friends nearby. We had arrived unsociably early so went to find refreshment at about 4pm on a wet dark Hogmanay. The two other eating establishments in Grandtully were either closed completely or available "only to residents" and thus unable to provide even a coffee "on the Tay". I... More

I used to pass this place once a month while working in the area, I have been in the place twice, and both occasions I have been far from impressed. The first time was to purchase chocolates as a present, I found the person behind the counter not very helpful, and off putting the second visit was to the café... More

Yes, the chocolate is every bit as inviting as you think it would be. No cheap european chocolate that is passed off as luxurious when in fact its not as good as the brittish purple standard. The chocolate is too die for. The prices are steeper than the toblerone mountain, but let's be honest, this is way off the beaten... More

We stopped here as I had past by the signs many times and was finally tempted and I was so glad I did. We stopped for lunch and I had the white hot chocolate which I would highly recommend. I also had the haggis and brie pannini, it was great and my partner had the carrot and orange soup which... More

Second visit here, can't drive past without stopping! Shop is beautiful, always has great music playing too. Some new products for Halloween and Christmas, and the window display was fab! Yes the chocolate isn't cheap, but if like me you appreciate really good quality chocolate this is the place to find it. Never visited the cafe so can't comment.
