Lovely place but crowded

The landscape is very spectacular at quite unique in that part of Sardinia. However in August it is very crowded and noisy.

Well noted as the set of some commercial ads on television, Cala Domestica is also at the crossroads of nature and history, of mountain and sea, due to its location on the famous trail n.301, Galleria Henry / Cala Domestica / Buggerru, linking some of the most exciting and important places for the history of mining in Sardinia (and almost... Easy to get. Not so crowded (it was early June). Color of the water is awesome. Full of rocks and places to explore. They should improve the cleanliness of the beach as the sand was very dirty. Also the beach kiosk takes 25-30% of the whole beach and plays very loud music during the day. A must-go when visiting Iglesias... More

Beautiful place. A piece of paradise. Nature gave us as a gift. So I ask myself, WHY BUGGERRU CITY GAVE licence to have the only one bar in this paradise to these no culture people? From the morning to evening CLUB MUSIC with HIGH volume disturb . Colors and structure not appropriate for this place.ALL with any connection with this... More

cala domestica, located in the mountains between nebida and buggeru was one of our highlights during the week we spended in that region. the beach is well signposted and easy reachable. the fine sandy main beach is located between aa imposant steepcoast and a beachbar offers food and drinks. a small stoney path at the right side brought us via... The road has improved so much in the last few years. It has twist and turns but it is a beautiful road. There are two beaches one it is very extended and sandy. The other one has to be reached going through a short cave and on rocks it is a bit difficult if you are carrying a lot of... More

Absolutely overcrowded in summer, but absolutely beautiful, too. I recommend to move along the rocks and see the small Cala behind the one where you can take your sunbathe. If you like, jump from the rocks into the turquoise water. Only one thing: since this is a very narrow bay, the water is very "rough at most times... athough it... More

A really fantastic place to swim and to burn under the sun. There are two beaches in this location. One a bit hidden on the right side which probably is the best.
