There is a reason that it is a top rated beach in the world. The water is very clear and an unbelievable color, any place in the area was great snorkeling and the people friendly.

I have been to 6 of the Bahama islands, and this island, beach, and resort, might possible my favorite in the world. The resort itself is all I would ever ask for from such a place, the rooms are adorable and I loved to be able to sit in our room to listen and watch the sea. The staff is... More

This is one of the nicest beaches in the world. You can swim and snorkel here. Bring your gear if you are not staying at the hotel. The water is very calm here so it is excellent for the little ones. You can also grab a bite to eat at their restaurant.

We did not stay at the Cape but enjoyed the beach, restaurant and a snorkel trip. I cannot say enough positive things about it. One of the most beautiful beaches I have ever seen, great food, and wonderful snorkel excursion!!

A really beautiful beach that is good for suntanning and snorkelling. However, beware of sand flies!!!

this is consistently ranked in the 10 best beaches on the planet. It curves around the bay with miles of soft white sand and you can wade out really far as it's very shallow. Gorgeous!

We stayed on the southern part of the island but drove to Cape Santa Maria beach after many recommendations...it was worth the hour and forty five minute drive! The resort on the beech was closing for September, but the staff was very friendly and let us use the beach. My husband and I were the only ppl on the beach... More

Beautiful, mostly deserted 2 mile crescent beach with white sand clear aquamarine water and no waves. Good snorkeling on the south end, far from the resort. There's a resort with lounge chairs and paddle boards, but very strictly for guests only, so beware.

I have been to been to some of the finest beaches but none compare to this place. The whitest softest sand I have ever seen and the ocean is crystal clear. Outstanding snorkeling within walking distance, great fishing, great bar and outstanding staff. I wish I had another star to give.
