I love the windswept views and feel of the place. A wonderful area to watch the waves and beachcomb.

Our flight out of Barbados was cancelled so we had an extra day to drive around and we headed to Bathsheba. So glad we did. A beautiful area with amazing rock formations. Not much of a beach, but not really a place to swim. There were a few surfers working the surf while we were there. Fun to watch.

It has absolutely gorgeous views, maybe breathtaking. There are the obligatory hawkers but they don't pester you. Beach more about surfing as the government has declared it a no swim area due to the strong current, lovely to walk upon though, and well worth a visit.

A perfect place to stroll along the beach. Do not swim here; it is too dangerous because of the riptides and undercurrents. Twenty years ago, the beach was pristine; in January, it was covered in seaweed. We were told that sometimes seaweed is left and other times, no. There is usually a vendor there with items available for purchase. In... More

Photo op plus lunch at Atlantis Hotel was terrific. Getting there is half the fun especially if you are the one driving on the left.

Just wonderful unspoilt scenery and wild sea - just don't try to swim there. Watch the very able surfers instead

We took the Barbados Coast to Coast excursion from the ship in Bridgetown and toured the Island, churches (St. Joseph), scenery and enjoyed once again "Bathsheba Beach". The tour bus did stop at certain places to allow for some scenic pictures. Unfortunately we only spent about a half hour at Bathsheba but had plenty of time to enjoy the site... More

Absolutely different to the other, Carribean side of the island. You can feel the power of the nature here.. Not possible to swim, but a beautiful place to see.

The rock formations rival anything I've seen. The entire east coast is dramatic and rugged. A world away from the west. The village of Bathsheba is funky, quaint, priceless just the way it is. Try to find the book Facing North by local author Edison Williams for a rich trove of stories about the area.
