Took lots of pics of this coastal area from plantations to hills and seaside area containing magnificent rock formations. The beaches on the day we visited had lots of seaweed washing ashore so we didn't go for a swim. Had local food from vendor who cooked up fresh fish sandwiches and other local goodies that was amazing at decent prices.

Bathsheba is really wonderful. Very rough. Huge rocks coming out from the water, big waves, coconut trees in the background. Not for swimming, just take a walk around.

Visited Bathsheba beach as part of an Island Safari trip. Beautiful beach with truly impressive rock structures. The sea is very turbulent and dangerous. The were a few stall for tourist tat and coconuts for sale. Nice break in the tour just to wander.

I loved the huge rock outcropping amid the surf. Wished I could have bathed in the waters but the surf is dangerous for all but the most experienced swimmers. However, just being there is healing!

WOW this place is beautiful, I was desperate to go and drink in the scenery. I took so many photos but they just do not do the place any justice. Definitely worth a visit, its up on the east coast of Barbados. unfortunately there is no swimming but you can wander around and get souvenirs, or have your picture taken... More

Definitely a must to see when visiting Barbados. Getting to Bathsheba by car is in itself an adventure, and when you arrive you are confronted with the spectacular east coast ruggedness.

what a view ! Go there during a windy day and you might be seeing lots of surfers. There's a look out point from which you have a beautiful view over the beaches and surrounding area.

The scenery here is spectacular, and well worth a visit, although it's not easy driving. Disappointingly, we arrived at lunchtime, but there was nowhere to eat. Only 1 drinking bar open. The beach café decided to close when we got there, which was very odd. We tried to find The Atlantis Restaurant, but couldn't drive up the hill, as the... More

Visited Bathsheba beach as part of an Island Safari trip. Beautiful beach with truly impressive rock structures and fantastic sand and sea. Not able to swim in sea, as it's on the east coast, so quite dangerous due to the currents, but an excellent place to stop for a picnic, walk along the sand or just watch the breakers. Highly...
