A great place, somewhat remote but this makes it all the more special. We enjoyed some tasty treats in the coffee shop which were served by incredibly pleasant staff. We then headed out on a lovely walk along the lough taking in the sights of the old castle, massive dragonflies, and a peaceful walk up to the summer house. Were... More

Crom Estate, located on the southern shores of Upper Lough Erne, offers parkland, woodland and wetlands with boating, bird watching, and outdoor activities and children's play park. Just 5 miles from Lisnaskea. Had great time on my first visit will be back with grandchildren!!

We spent a couple of hours here walking around the grounds. The National Trust run the grounds but the Castle still belongs to the family and is therefore closed to the day tripper. The view of the water from the shore is just one of the most beautiful in the whole of Fermanagh. I would like to return and spend... More

As an outing to celebrate the birthdays of two sister in laws whose ages shall remain a top secret, sixteen of the family were part of the cruise and dine experience organised by The West Wing at Crom Castle and what an experience. If ever you get the opportunity to experience this event grasp it with both hands, I am... More

We usualy take our fishing boat to Crom on calm sunny Saturdays. Sundays can be a bit busy during the summer months. There's a cafe on site offering teas, cakes and non-kitchen hot foods such as hot sandwiches and pies. The grounds offer great view of the lake and quiet paths that meander through the estate. It is a lovely... More

Our second campung trip to this fabulous place but sadly ruined by noise level on campsite into tge wee small hours. Manager was on leave and deputy not interested in adressing problems which continued and worsened on second night of stay. Too tired and upset to enjoy the place so left on day 3, holiday ruined. Earplugs would not address... More

Well worth the effort to visit; exceptionally pretty to walk around the well kept grounds. Crom Castle looks superb; pity you cant get closer to see it. We did find it tricky to find but maybe that was the SatNav taking us down tracks, unnamed roads with lots of wing-mirror-clipping-hedges moments.

What a fabulous campsite!! We stayed for two nights, travelled up on Friday evening and pitched our tent after 8pm. There are two sites for tents (no caravans here) both are flat with an elevated area and a lower area and both are very close to the toilet and shower block which were kept very clean at all times. There... More
