Kindly visit this temple as it has its own historical & mythological importance. Very well organized & not much of a rush. It was so peaceful & eternal that felt like not leaving the temple. I would recommend everyone to visit this temple.

A temple with a history..there was an aura to be felt. The travel too was breathtaking. This temple is also surrounded by the three waterfalls, though for us it was a wrong season and some of the falls were bone dry,

Been here Dec 2014. The temple is near Agaya gangai falls. The temple is not so big but the main deity siva in the form of Linga is well decorated. One can peacefully pray unlike other big temples where you get pushed and yelled. see more on my blog http://aruntravelpics.blogspot.in/2014/12/kolli-hills-70-hair-pin-bends1100-steps.html

One of the best-known temples on Kolli Hills, Arappaleeswar Temple is scenically located on the top of the hills and is decorated with numerous Tamil inscriptions belonging to the Chola period. A small temple only. But ages more than 1300 years. Peaceful location. Do not miss the Masila Aruvi on the way to the temple. Also, do not miss the herbal soup you get in the nearby shops.

This place was sheer nature untouched by crowd yet. Fresh fragrance, aroma of forest, and a big water fall. The temple is on top hills, the road to hills is least crowd but has more hairpin bends. Drive with care. All the products sold here are free from pesticides.

The shrine is ancient and accessible. Best part is that there was hardly any crowd. We were able to pray in peace and seek the devine blessings!!
