A once in a life time experience. Walk alongside Africa's most majestic predator. The "walking with lions" encounter is an opportunity to interact with young lions. The walks take approximately one hour to complete - depending on how fast the lions are prepared to amble - and a maximum of eight - ten guests can be hosted on each excursion. No leashes, No Collars, just a natural African Adventure.

This was a dream for me since a young age and I couldn't believe it is just situated in my back yard. My husband and I who is both nature lovers went to walk the lions and what a fantastic experience this was. We actually played with these three lions a year before when they were still cups and then... More

Not to be missed! Wonderful one hour experience. Knowledgeable guides, it felt all very safe and the animals did not appear to be stressed or bothered at all.

This was a breathtaking experience that we will never forget. What a privilege. We were part of a small group of 10 tourists and we had an incredible time. First, the lions themselves were so beautiful and we were delighted to be able to get that close to them. Second, the guides themselves were knowledgeable, kind and made lots of... More

We had to do this as an attraction offered by Botlierskop Game Reserve. It was a once in a lifetime chance. So we couldn't say no! We left Botlierskop from the main lodge and were driven across their property crossing an unpaved road on to Zorgfontein Game Farm. We stopped at their drop off point where we would start our... We did the hour long catwalk at Zorgfontein. Our lions were a young brother and sister who were very affectionate. They were escorted by four guides who were carrying bags with chunks of meat that kept the lions interested. There was also one guide to keep the walkers in line. They did several photo stops with the walkers behind the... More

This is the real deal and may be as close to wild lions as you may ever get. After visiting Zorgfontein "Catwalk" registration and signing the mandatory indemnity form (I imagine lawyers will hate this), we were introduced to our guide. He gave us instructions on walking with the cats and asked each of us to carry a walking staff,... More

The sun was shining, there was no wind and all was in place. The guides were amazing and at no time did I feel in any danger. These cats are well cared for, and at no time did I think or see these animals in distress.

I have had the pleasure of walking with this wonderful animals and thanks to a great guide that just completely summed up the experience. To have been so close to them is amazing. You always get to see them on the television out in the wild and to have been able to walk next to them is an experience that... More

Having been on an excellent game drive at Botlioskorp, we decided to go on the one hour walk with two lions at their sister facility. What a great experience !! As Nike tell us - 'Just do it'

We walked with 2 lions Mustpha and Leyla a male and female lion. This was just a very emotional and great experience. To think at home we take our 3 dogs on leads to keep them at bay, here we walked with 2 lions no restraints of any sort and a few rangers with bamboo sticks to control them. We... More
