I've done the Saba/St Kitts cruise aboard the Caribbean Explorer II in Dec'13, Maldives aboard the Carpe Vita in March'14 and the Galapagos Islands aboard the Humboldt Explorer in Dec'14. All of my experiences have been beyond my expectations. What they have in common, is a great parent company with great staff. All three boats had impeccable staffs that were... More

This live aboard dive trip is for divers with experience. The seas/currents are changing all the time. The staff is helpful but not as knowledgeable as I have encountered in the past. Or maybe they just didn't want to go the extra mile.

Our local dive shop recently spent a week aboard the CEXII on the St.Martin to St. Kitts path. It was the first LOB for most of us and everyone enjoyed the trip. The boat was older but comfortable and functional. The arrangement was basically that you set up your gear the way you like it and never touch it again... More

In November of 2014, we took the Caribbean Explorer II live aboard dive boat from St. Maarten to St. Kitts. Although it is not a high-end boat, it is very practical for simply diving. The cabins are a tad small with very little room to store clothes and the boat is too small for an indoor saloon. But the dive... More

A week of diving in Turks and Caicos. Great liveaboard crew and itinerary. Diving is awesome. Great Viz. Sharks on most dives.

We were staying on Exuma for a wedding, and went snorkelling ff the coast. There were not that many fish, but did see Manta Rays, just swimming in the water, off the beach.

The crew of the Explorer Ventures in the Bahamas were great! Very friendly, helpful and knowledgable. The dive masters (Lynn and Simon) were also wonderful. We were fortunate to have a great group of travelors on board, including a group from Switzerland and France! What fun they turned out to be! I can see why live aboard diving is the... More

We booked our trip with Explorer Ventures (7/1-7/8/06) for their Bahamas trip that leaves out of the Great Exumas. This was our first time on a live aboard and totally fell in love with the experience. There were 18 passengers and 6 crew on the 92 ft vessel. As this was our first time on a live aboard, I was...
