We stayed for one week in a house right on Winding Bay. Great kayaking in the bay and you can easily access Joseph's Cay and the surrounding waters to snorkel. Great treasure hunting on Joseph's Cay.

We rented a house in Winding Bay-the cove was just like a slice of paradise. the water was clean and clear and shades of blues and green. Snorkeling and kayaking was great off the reef.

We've stayed on most parts of Eleuthera, and this one was the furthest south. We chose Winding Bay because we wanted to be closer to the less explored southern villages and beaches and because we found lovely accommodations at High Tide Villa (there are a few other villas to rent on Winding Bay). Here is a link on how to... More

One of our first stops when we vacation at Tarpum Bay is Winding Bay beach. It's easy to access, has few people on it and leads to more beaches begging to be explored and experienced.

Winding Bay is a lovely place to spend an afternoon soaking in the sunshine and playing in the calm, clear water. Unfortunately, as with many beaches on this incredible island, there is often quite a bit of debris on the shore.

It was peaceful and beautiful. There was no one else on the beach the day we were there. Soft sands! The water was choppy that day, but a storm was rolling in so I', not sure how it looks on a calmer sea day. Worth a visit.

if you are near rock sound and you have a car, you can't miss this place. It's a bay with immaculated sand and crystaline water. Ten year ago a hurrican destroyed the ventaclub complex and so this part of the beach is still uncleand and messy. Besides that this remains a great place to visit and to sunbathe because the... Winding Bay is accessed from the road by the Shell Station on the southern edge of Tarpum Bay. Take the road to the end and make a left at the Y junction. Follow the sand road around to the end. There is a stop on the way if you want to try that instead. What's interesting about Winding Bay is... More

We visited the very north end of this beach. It was great for beaching combing, snorkeling and sea life. Saw multiple sea turtles.
