if you are near rock sound and you have a car, you can't miss this place. It's a bay with immaculated sand and crystaline water. Ten year ago a hurrican destroyed the ventaclub complex and so this part of the beach is still uncleand and messy. Besides that this remains a great place to visit and to sunbathe because the... Winding Bay is accessed from the road by the Shell Station on the southern edge of Tarpum Bay. Take the road to the end and make a left at the Y junction. Follow the sand road around to the end. We visited the very north end of this beach. It was great for beaching combing, snorkeling and sea life. Saw multiple sea turtles. More

Winding Bay has a lovely sugar sand beach and is very shallow for hundreds of yards. The water is crystal clear.
