Layout is fine. But the fairways have many patches of crab grass. The greens are not flattened so they are slow. Probably an 8 on the stimp. Some greens have two different types of grass on it as well. The cart paths stop after most tee boxes so you have no choice but to drive through the fairway then figure... More

The staff was friendly. The course was ok. I could see some workers trimming some areas and doing maintenance, but the overall quality of the course was average. It's still a fun time. We only paid for 9 holes because it was so expensive just to rent clubs. And we had to buy our balls. I would recommend looking for... More

We love to golf and usually play during our travels. This course was at a typical resort price but below standards for a $100 a round. $50 club rental .Needed mowed, branches hanging over cart paths, burnt greens, tons of squeaking seagulls. If you can resist the golf urge wait until a better offer. Will skip it next time. Woman... More

As an occasional golfer I haven't had the luxury of playing championship courses like some of the reviewers but I have played both very good and very bad courses, and I can tell you that this is definitely an above average course. I called a few days before my trip and booked my t-off time (as I would with any... More

Scenic, challenging, and interesting bird species on most holes. My companions are mid 80's golfers on their home course and they found this course sufficiently challenging.

Golf was great. Lots of water hazards. Course in good shape. Well laid out and good for all skill levels. I'd go back any time.

I suppose to have a free round of golf with the Grand Lucayan but the game cost me 100 $ US. When I book my golf round, the lady at the phone avoid telling me of the fee that it will cost since she knows that if I were aware of the trap before entering the golf course, I probably... More

my son and I opted for a round of golf and had a great day over at the reef course. we arrived after many days of intense rain, so the water holes were really swelling from all the rain. the pace was perfect as we didnt have to wait on anyone ahead of us and there was no one hitting... More

The best part of our 5 day trip to Grand Bahama Island was golfing. The Reef course isn't in the best shape, but it isn't horrible, either. It is a fairly open course with some challenging water shots and some fairly long holes. The course could use a little TLC but doesn't play like a neglected course per some other... More

A Robert Trent Jones Sr gem. It has wide fairways, lets you relax and hit whatever off the tee. Then, the greens are of varying sizes, and well protected by bunkers and water, add to the mix the island winds, you will have to do a little bit of thinking to navigate to the hole. Perfect place to go for... More
