Golf was great. Lots of water hazards. Course in good shape. Well laid out and good for all skill levels. I'd go back any time.

I suppose to have a free round of golf with the Grand Lucayan but the game cost me 100 $ US. When I book my golf round, the lady at the phone avoid telling me of the fee that it will cost since she knows that if I were aware of the trap before entering the golf course, I probably... More

my son and I opted for a round of golf and had a great day over at the reef course. we arrived after many days of intense rain, so the water holes were really swelling from all the rain. the pace was perfect as we didnt have to wait on anyone ahead of us and there was no one hitting... More

The best part of our 5 day trip to Grand Bahama Island was golfing. The Reef course isn't in the best shape, but it isn't horrible, either. It is a fairly open course with some challenging water shots and some fairly long holes. The course could use a little TLC but doesn't play like a neglected course per some other... More

A Robert Trent Jones Sr gem. It has wide fairways, lets you relax and hit whatever off the tee. Then, the greens are of varying sizes, and well protected by bunkers and water, add to the mix the island winds, you will have to do a little bit of thinking to navigate to the hole. Perfect place to go for... More

We stayed at Memories so took advantage of the complimentary green fees. There was no need to book on either of the days we played which was great. Lovely clubhouse and very helpful and friendly staff. The credit card machine didn't work but they just took down our details and one of the staff pitched up on the 14th green... More

The service here is just excellent. I booked a tee time but arrived a bit late, but they let me do my warm ups and said "no worry, you play when you wan't to play". It's a bit pricey but still worth it - I guess. The course itself is a bit boring but in good condition.

I have played a lot of golf courses - largely in the Midwest - and I was looking forward to playing this course with my 70-year old father while visiting the Bahamas. It appeared as if the course was once beautiful but is suffering from a lack of maintenance. It really was a shame that this course is not better... More

I visited Grand Bahama during Christmas holidays 2013. I play loads of golf in Northern California Bay Area where I can play up to a dozen public championship golf courses within a 40 mins drive. This course (Reef) wouldn't rank in the top 12 of those Bay Area courses. Management has not kept this course up to resort golf standards.... More

Not quite as exciting as we were hoping or an RTJ-designed course. Some of it is that I imagine this environment would be quite tough for course management but still not super impressive facilities. Some good holes, water in play a decent amount, sand is rocky (literally). Had a great time with the wife but nothing particularly gripping about the... More
