If you stay at the Taino Beach resort or the Flamingo Bay hotel you can get a return ticket for 6 usd each to Port Lucaya. The ferry ride through the picturesque Bell Channel waterways lasts about 10 minutes and is very enjoyable. Currently the ferry operates from Flamingo Bay every hour on the hour although it was not working... More

The beach was pretty wide and beautiful. It was also very busy and there did not appear to be very many rocks. Lots of places to eat.

It was nice ride They weren't as accommodating as I thought they would be. I figured they might have refreshments or music, but I was wrong.

Taino Beach Villa#6535005. It was very convenient and only $6 return. The ferry ran every hour on the hour so we didn't need a car rental or taxi into town.

Beautiful beach. It was very nice and not too crowded. There's a clean pool there too, which had a water slide. A little restaurant if you get hungry. Just a perfect little get away.

This ferry was great! Runs every hour. It was always on time and the ferry driver was very helpful. Being handicapped was hard cause you have steps to deal with.

Very convenient and yet fun way of getting to the Taino beach. It costs only $6. The driver was very kind and polite. The ride itself is very short and saves you a lot of time compering if you walk from the Port Lucaya Market. Highly recomended Sanja

This is a rip off! If you stay on the Taino Beach side of this harbor, you have to use this ferry, or call a cab or catch a bus in order to get to Port Lucaya. There is nothing on the Taino Beach side except the beach. The ferry costs $3/person/one way trip. They do not sell weekly passes, and... More

This Ferry is on the dot every time. On one occasion, we missed the ferry on the hour. Since it's only about a 15 minute commute out and back, the conductor arrived while we were waiting. My husband asked if he could help us out to make our appointment in Lucaya Market for a healthy tip. The conductor was happy... More
