The ferry trip costs $3 each way and lasts about 15 minutes each way. You get to see a little of the Freeport Harbor and might even catch a glimpse or two of sealife swimming around you. The ferry is clean, the captain is courteous...and it's the best way for a non-driver to get from Taino Beef to the Lucaya... More

$6 round trip. Runs on the hour from West side of Bell Channel, Flamingo Bay Hotel. It goes to the Pelican Bay Hotel at Port Lucaya. It's less expensive than a taxi & certainly more enjoyable.

Dear “Better than a Taxi” Thanks for your candid review of the Ferry Boat experience. We think it’s a great way to get from Taino Beach Resort and Flamingo Bay Hotel and Marina to the Port Lucaya Marketplace dining, and shopping area! Thanks, Management More

They were more interested in talking with one another than taking care of the people who take care of them by staying at this resort. I single female traveler should not be treated any differently than a family. I would venture to say the single woman would certainly have more money to spend if she could fly this way all... More

Not really worth the money. Felt a little silly when we got off. It's just a short ride around a corner. Not sure why it is there.

Friendly staff and on time. You might get away sneaking in the boat for free, as they don't really check or might let you in anyway. I rated only ''average'' because it finishes at 11pm, so for those who plan on having a good night out must take the expensive taxi back later.

Short, great trip. Take twice one day time and one at night you can. Inexpensive yet very enjoyable ride! The ferry not just on time, leaves EARLIER then posted times. (the posted time was 15 min after each hour, but was leaving 11 minutes after hour. The operator of ferry said ferry leaves 10 min after even though posted differently)... More

They were always on time. I was staying at pelican, so it was included. The beach resort it takes you (tanio beach resort) to is getting a bit rundown, but the beach is great!

The ferry is the short way between Taino Beach and Port Lucaya and is a simple process. The view is picturesque and the ride very relaxing. Take it!

Runs every hour from Taino Resort to Lucaya Marketplace up until 11:00 pm. It provides a comfortable and quick ride. You are not allowed to take luggage on the ferry.

To buy a ticket you had to go into the lobby of a hotel but no signs were visible outside we had to keep asking people.
