I would like to thank Fred and Melinda and the staff at Grand Bahama Scuba for another Great dive trip. I first dove with GBS in 1997 and when time allowed was happy to dive with them when ever I could. (including the last 3 years in a row). After spending 22 years in the Navy and having the pleasure... More

We're a large dive club from New England and had yet another great trip with Fred, Melinda, Dom, and Tae this year. We were there from October 20th through the 24th. Even with the weather blown out on the last day, we managed to get in 15 dives in 4 days this year! They even accommodated us with two night... More

I've had the pleasure of diving in Freeport with Grand Bahama Scuba for many years. Most recently for 15 dives from Oct 13 to Oct 24th of this year. Fred and Melinda run the friendliest and safest dive operation I've had dealings with. The crew is professional and they provide excellent service. They set up your equipment and care for... More

This time I had the opportunity to do 10 dives. Fred and Melinda, Dom and Tea are amazing! They are friendly, knowledgeable, safe and care for the environment and the experience of each of their customers. I loved every dive and am already looking forward to the next time I get to have this experience. The dives are also incredible.... More

WOW! Where do I start? First of all I'll say this is one of the best dive operations I've been on. I just read the nasty review of GBS and feel that I hope I never end up on the same dive boat this guy was on. It would appear that nothing will make him/her happy. I'm thinking that guy... More

I have been diving with Grand Bahama Scuba, Fred Riger, for over twenty years. While I have not counted the exact number of dives with Fred I believe it is over 300 at this time. From my 1st resort dive to my recent week, 11-Oct to 17-Oct, I have found that Fred runs the best resort dive shop available. I... More

I have been diving for about 25 years, and visited the Bahamas last April. Often times when I go to a destination, the specific dive I want is not scheduled or unavailable when I can fit it into my trip. Though trip advisor I got the name of Grand Bahamas Scuba, and contacted Melinda about diving Theo's Wreck. They scheduled... More

This place is the worst dive shop I have ever used. I will attempt to do a summary so I don't go on too long...which I could. 1. Small converted fishing boat, not a dive boat. Not a problem been on those type before. The problem with this dive shop it was overloaded when I went. The owner, his wife,... More

During the 2 months my family stayed at Ocean Reef Yacht Club on our boat, we had the pleasure of diving with Fred & Melinda numerous times. We found them and their staff to be very professional. They are very experienced scuba divers who know and understand the dive sites and area on the south side of Grand Bahama Island.... More

Overall, great trip. Melinda was on time to pick me up at resort and took me back. I felt safe on the dive. Two very different dives, both enjoyable. Take your own water and ice. I was surprised that there was no fresh water on the boat to rinse camera, gear, etc. and no ice in the cooler. Overall, it... More
