Grounds have been neglected, but still a nice walk. I'm sure this area was beautiful @ one time. Café was okay. Servers were nice. Apache the African Grey meowed @ us (LOL) Royal, another African Grey let us hold him & Kitten the kitty let us pet him. Gift shop was not opened that day (Sunday).

Visited in Feb of 2012. Really liked this park. So many lovely tropical plants and nice birds. They had a lovely arbor with some tropical pitcher plants. There was a cute chapel, a labyrinth, waterfalls and nice bird watching too. They also had some nice aviaries with budgies and parrots which was a nice treat for a bird lover like... More

My wife and I arrived on a sunny but cool day to the peaceful and tranquil gardens. We saw so many different plants and were quite surprised to find that they were from all around the world. We saw ducks we had never seen or heard of and I managed spot a few spiders in their webs and actually identified... More

I went as part of an island tour. It's best to go on your own to fully enjoy. The tour is a must to fully appreciate the history and surroundings. I learned about the Neem herbal/medicinal plant and bought plenty of tea and extract from the shop. There was a nice variety of tourist trinkets from the select vendors.

We went expecting to see some waterfalls in the garden, they were all turned off. I would have paid about $7 to see what we saw. The gardens aren't nearly as big as the map makes it look.

What a beautiful place and the cafe is very home town friendly. It's and easy stroll with lots of places to sit. It rained while we were there which added to the beauty.

Nature at it's best. What an exquisite blend of flora and fauna. I started my nature walk with several escorts: the ducks waddled with me along the walkway past the Tilapia pond, and the waterfalls towards the outdoor cafe.,squalking as they go as if they're sharing some amazing story!! I continued on, admiring the Cuban Emerald Hummingbird that was happily flitting... More
