We visited the Garden of the Groves on a half-day tour of the island. We were there for less than 2 hours, which was plenty of time to see the area. There were all kinds of birds and ducks around, and tons of turtles in the pond. The waterfall was lovely. We learned a little of the history of the... More

We had a relaxing lunch with spectacular views. The waterfall is breath taking. The ducks helped us eat our lunch. They had some nice little shops along the walk. Plenty of island history as well.

The gardens are absolutely beautiful. The chapel would be a perfect spot for a destination wedding. The gardens and waterfalls are absolutely beautiful. We visited the restaurant and gardens twice during our week long stay in Freeport. The food and ambiance were exceptionally wondeful. I highly recommend!

We spent 2 weeks in Freeport, 21Feb-7Mar2015. We ran out of activities and decided to visit the Garden of Groves. We arrive at 8:45 Am, though the park did not officially open until 9 they let us in early, a bonus! This is a walking tour so we wanted to get there early to beat the midday heat. The grounds... What a beautiful and relaxing place to visit. The gardens are lovely. We enjoyed the waterfalls and ponds with all the fish, turtles and birds. Make sure you stop by the cafe for a bite and get lots of history about the park.

I stopped at the Garden of the Groves as part of a different tour. There's a spirituality element to it, including an outdoor labyrinth. I enjoyed the prayerful peacefulness of the place. The one thing to be aware of is that there are chinese (?) ducks that wander around. They will beg for food in the outdoor eating area, but... More
