Obviously, there are more than one Taino Beaches. We went to the one the locals go to. Of course, there were lots of tourists there, but not crowded at all. The beach was nice. Jet skis and parasailing were available at a good price. There was a bar that was pretty crowded. There was also some local crafts/souvenirs available. Overall,... More

beach was not crowded, water was great temperature, wasn't dirty at all. some people were asking about excursions but nothing pushy at all, didn't feel pressured. they made it known that it was available for you but that was it.

The beach was beautiful, nevertheless the property we visited on a tour was average in cleanliness, repairs and being updated. The staff on site was accommodating and very friendly.

We were told they had a lazy river to relax on, except only 2 rafts for all the people. The beach is ok except not enough seats to accommodate people.

Had a couple of hours off the cruise to visit the beach. It was a nice quiet beach. The sand was soft. The water was not rough. Unfortunately, had to walk away from the main beach area to avoid the seaweed which was bad in areas. The bar area was busy and the bartenders were fun.

My family and I came to Freeport on a cruise ship. Get off the ship as early as you can so you can get to the beach and have a shaded area or purchase a nice table hut in front of the restaurant for $20. For a family it was definitely worth it to pay to have the shaded table... More

It's probably good that the sand is free. Judging from the condition of the thatched amenities and chairs I don't think they spend anything to keep things modern and in good working order. The good thing is that if you're here with kids it's pretty isolated. Like my taxi driver said "they named it Taino because when the developer first... More

The beach was nice and easy to walk along. The bonfire activities were awesome. There were plenty of fun things to participate in and the food was very good.

I did enjoy the beauty of the water at Taino. It is crystal clear but the beach area is tiny which made for a crowded area. The atmosphere was nice with music. Definitely take advantage of the open bar if you plan on drinking. We ordered a burger and fries and it was very TASTY. Definitely give a 5 for... More

Check out Tony Macaroni's conch shack on the beach. Great food, great service, great entertainment. Don't miss it!
