Do yourself a favor and go to the stretch of beach away from Port Lucaya. We didn't have a car and relied on the shuttle from our hotel to drop us off at "the beach". Narrow, lots of beach vendors constantly trying to sell you something, no bars/huts on nearby to get something to eat or drink, and the hotel... More

We chose the resort because it was on the beach, however, the waters were rough, dirty with reef, and the sand had to be swept daily because of all that comes out of the water. We didn't spend much time at this beach.

a wonderful place just to hang out and enjoy the sun, sand, sea and gentle easterly winds. Of course, on Wednesdays there is the Fish Fry festival; and many native restaurants are in walking distance in nearby Smith's Point. And make sure you visit Tony Macaroni conch stand.

My review is for Taino Beach at Junkanoo and not the Taino Beach Resort. Taino Beach at Junkanoo is a very beautiful beach, nice clear water and it offers jet ski rentals and different beach activities. A short walk will bring you to Toni Macaroni's Beach Bar where you can get lunch and sit back and enjoy the beach and... More

Nice beach, but it was so windy we could not stay long. Restaurant at beach was worth the trip, which is free if you stay at the Pelican Bay.

Great food and music. The people on the island want everyone to have a good time so they encourage dancing. The beach was beautiful at night and Bon fire sparked.

We took the water taxi that leaves from the Sabor restaurant in Lucaya to Taino Beach for the day. The beach was clean, broad, of fine sand, and almost deserted on a Sunday midday. We had a nice shady shelter with lounge chairs. Nearby, there was a restaurant and an expansive swimming pool, which we didn't use.

We had an excursion to this beach as part of our Carnival Pride cruise from Baltimore. First we did ATVing and then they took us to this beach. For the life of me, I can't remember the name of the jet ski rental place (I even wrote it down in anticipation of writing this review, but then lost the paper... More

Was quiet but was a good bit of sea weed that wasn't cleaned off. maybe the resort equipment wasn't working at the time.

One of the most beautiful beaches I've ever been to. Plenty of seating, calm waters too inviting to resist.
