I have been to MANY beaches throughout the caribbean. I can't say this was my favorite....It was nice, but I was disappointed at how rough the water was and all the seaweed in the water and on the beach. I also love to find sea shells and this beach had ZERO SEA SHELLS :(

My boyfriend and I just returned a few weeks ago from our vacation at Taino Beach. We had the best weather, 85 degrees every day and not one drop of rain! And a great, relaxing time, too.

We took the Taino Ferry from the Lucaya Market to get here....then we walked. First, we made the mistake of trying to walk along the beach to get to Taino Beach. Big Mistake! After you leave the beautiful hotel beach you soon get to a rocky, slippery and scarily secluded. We made it about a half mile down this route...

The day was intermitant overcast & windy, not a day for snorkeling. We walked from the Taino Beach Resort to Taino Beach, about 1 1/2 miles by the road, walking back along the beach about a mile. A group of young ladies were having bachalorette party. My wife only kicked me once. The resturant had excellent snapper fingers & burgers....

Nice beach. Not too many people. Good places to eat so you don't have to bring anything with you. Picnic tables and shade available. Good fish fry on Wednesdays.

When you spend all day on a plane, you'd like to see a friendly person or just to get a smile. But no, not here, the women were too busy talking with one another. If it hadn't been for the bag carrier, (CJ) the checkin would of made my decision to NEVER stay here again. But CJ stepped right up...

Soft white sands, not too crowded.. Tony macaroni's all in a great day at Taino beach! Had a great day.

Fun, clean and walkable beach...not over crowded. Chairs were brought to you. You could buy clothing, food and alcohol

Taino beach is a public beach, and it has a lot to offer. The Junkanoo Club is also located at Taino, which is free. At Taino beach, several vendors set-up shop for your convenience (and also for your business :-), including rentals for beach chairs/towels/umbrellas, outdoor restaurant shacks that serve fresh seafood and offer great views of the ocean, hair-braiding...
