We took a ferry over to Taino Beach. It was a nice ride through the waterway. Was very disappointed in the beach area. Took a little stroll around, and that was about it. Nice for a visit, but enjoyed Port Lucaya better.

We brought air matresses and floated out in the water for hours. We also brought goggles and watched all of the starfish, fish, and awesome underwater scenery!

Just came back from Carnival Sensation. We hemmed & hawed a lot over this as the ship excursion wasn't too pricey but the reviews were so mixed and it was hard to figure out if the bad reviews were for Taino Beach or some other one (or the public beach is up a bit from Junkakoo Beach Club which is... We came here 3 times while staying for 9 days since it's so close to our hotel, Taino. It's really the only restaurant there is for Flamingo Bay and Taino unless you want to go to Port Lucaya or drive somewhere on the island. The food was pretty good. They have french toast with cinnamon butter which was very yummy.... More

Plastic beach chairs. Weather in February not conducive to sitting on this beach. Sand is nice and well maintained but winter time not in my list Cold ocean water and cool ocean breezes

We stayed at Pelican Bay Resort and you can take the ferry to Taino Beach (5 minute ride) for free. There is a snack bar or you can bring your own lunch. They have chairs (a little outdated and some are broken) but you have to get there early to get the good ones...and they have the grass huts to... More

We stayed at Taino Bechen Club and did not rent a car so we used the ferry everyday. It was always on time. The drivers are very nice. Sometimes they take a ticket and sometimes they don't! Still cheap way to travel back and forth.

Took the 2 minute ferry to Taino beach. It is the same thing as my hotel beach which was about 700 yards away and divided by a chanel. Went for the small outing but would not recommend.
