Some good deals can be found, but watch what your shopping for. One can find the same item at different locations for as much as $20.00 difference. As they say, buyer be-ware. More

we visited the marketplace 3 times during our visit...you have to haggle with the straw market vendors and then most times you still overpay...my daughter wanted a specific watch ..we finally found it and paid $180...when I got back to the hotel I googled it and could have saved $50 by buying it on Amazon...there were no refunds from the... SO Colorful! Fun place to walk around at. Locals are friendly. This one hut make these amazing frozen drinks inside of a real coconut! They cut open the cocnut in front of you and use the milk inside to make your drink called the Gullywash and pour it inside the huge coconut that you picked, stick a straw in it... More

If you need a straw purse or a fake sharks tooth or a swim suit cover up, this is the place for you. These people put things on my child to make her want them and when I say no and hand it back, they treat me as though I'm a bad mom. PLEASE!! I get that they are trying... More

Let me first start by saying the last thing I want to do on vacation is shop. This outdoor marketplace was across the street from the Radisson at Lucaya Beach.
