Not the deals expected having previously visited Cuba, Mexico and DR. There wasn't a bad selection and certainly some interesting restaurants, however being at an all inclusive we did not investigate farther. It was a good place to take a stroll and if you "shopped" hard you could get some reasonable deals but as mentioned above not what expected.

A lot of jewelry stores, some good prices and some outrages. Very nice to get off the resort for a walk around. The typical local booths are there all have the same stuff. They dont barter very much. One disappointment was wood carvings that have Bahamas carved in them, made in the Philippines!!!!

This is a quaint little market, with all the arts and crafts from people on the Island. Also has many other shops such as jewelry and food. This also has a place called ET tours, which is a one stop shop for tours and other activities like scuba diving. My family enjoyrd it very much. We are planning another trip.

Many hand made items including clothing, jewelry, Christmas ornaments, bags, dolls, etc.. Much better pricing than at the resort, though there are some high end shops here at the Msrketplace too. Do take advantage of Frankie's Ice Cream Parlor.

If you are visitng the Bahamas and you want to purchase souvenirs, this is the place to go. It's better if you have cash handy since it's sort of like a Flea Market and you will not pay taxes. No enjoyed it. Don't forget to visit the restaurants!

Good variety of food and drink at various restaurants with all ranges of prices. Large marketplace with souvenirs (straw hats, tshirts, etc.). People are friendly, a little pushy to make a sale but also okay to just wander and look around.
