Great snorkling

We charted a boat to go here. Great snorkel. We saw sting rays, needle point fish, sand dollars, sea urchins, various fish.

We booked a private Charter with Captain Brian Moss of White Cloud Water Sports (242-559-2723; moss.brian@rocketmail.com) and it was by far the best excursion we had on our week long honeymoon in Freeport! He picked us up in Port Lucaya near our hotel and drove us to where his boat was docked. We took a leisurely wonderful sail through the... More

Shalton Barr with Heaven on Earth Excursions - Tour Guide, Entertainer, Diver and Chef took us on his boat to Peterson Cay where he caught the fish for lunch, cleaned and cooked them while we snorkeled around the island. we bought our water shoes so we would not tough the ruff stuff and could walk around the island. we ate... The national park is awesome. There are underground caves that are fascinating and we did the kayaking which, surprisingly, we LOVED. Marlin was our guide and he was so cool. Ask for him if you can.

This is a very mall island and yet fun place to stop and snorkel around - I saw many beautiful fish, turtles and a barracuda - yikes!

We went on a group tour where we paddled kayaks about a mile from a remote beach over to Peterson Cay. Our guide Michael was very helpful with the kayaks and he provided waterproof bags for our belongings. You can only take over with you what fits in the bag, and there is nothing available on the cay itself, so... More

Very nice little island with a beautiful reef around it. Great place to watch birds, crabs and fish. Beach is very small at high tide. Most of the island is a bird habitat.

This is a nice park but still under construction and very, very small island. Small, soft sand beaches. It was a nice pit stop on the way to snorkeling.

loved the solitude and how private and pristine it was. the reef is on the far side of the cay so don't just stay in front of it or by the side closest to the main part of freeport. we found three conch shells underwater and took one of them with us. it was empty and huge. going back again... We drove the boat over early in the day...docked right on the beach (which in hindsight was a mistake!!!). Small beach on one side and rocky with birds nesting on the other. Lots of hermit crabs...we snorkeled...not alot to see but did spot a turtle a few times. After snorkeling we found the tide had gone out and left us... More
