Very nice snorkeling just a 15 min boat ride from the Viva Wyndham! Lots of corals and fishes. We even saw a very large Eagle ray.

It was a quaint little island. The water was quite shallow there but it was a nice place to get comfortable in the water.

You can snorkel around the entire Cay (which is a National Park) and BBQ or picnic. Bring your own food and drink.

Every time I visit family I. Freeport, we head out to Peterson Cay and anchor off shore. I have never seen another soul out there the times I have gone... Just pure luck, I guess! We snorkel in... Lots of interesting things to see.. On island, it makes great beach combing... Watch out for the hundreds of hermit crabs of... More

I can't emphasize how satisified I was with Shami and his team. They greated us promptly when we got off the cruise ship - all 15 of us (4 couples, 7 children - ages 12 through18). They got us underway to our destination - even allowing us a quick stop to pick up "refreshments" at a local store. We got... More

We went on the Grand Bahama Nature Tour Kayaking and Snorkeling tour. The water at Peterson Cay was crystal clear and the fish and plantlife were beautiful. Would definately go again.

Peterson Cay Is promoted as a tour destination as if it was something special. In fact it is a scrappy little island of 3 acres. with no palm trees and little sand. If you do not plan to snorkel there is nothing for you here. Only a postage stamp size area is accessable. The rest is a shoe shredding dry... More

Stunning doesn't half cover it. After snorkeling in Cacun, Punta Cana and several places down by Playa Del Carman, this was hands down the best color and variety of both fish and coral. Wonderful trip with our kids. We had five of our kids there (ages 11-18) and they all enjoyed their first ever snorkeling trip.

Snorkeled here twice and been amazed each time. I kayaked out to the island and snorkeled close to two hours both times..lots to look at! I've gone in January the past two years and found that using a wetsuit is helpful - if you catch any wind the breeze is enough to make you chilly, even if its sunny out.... More
