I schedule a couples massage here, and although the massage itself was great, I waited in the "lounge" area alone for 25 minutes past my schedule appointment time to be taken in. I thought someone had forgotten about me. It also looked as though the lobby was undergoing renovations. It didn't disrupt my service, but depending on the work they... More

Staying at a hotel well off the beaten path, I ventured down the beach about 40min and happened upon this spa. I had no appointment but the cordial receptionist found an appointment slot for me. The surroundings were quite peaceful, clean, and loved though they did look a little 'tired' - dinged furniture legs, leaky water decanter, slightly stained seat... More

My massage itself was wonderful. The staff was wonderful. But the overall spa is in desperate need of a refurb. The steam room was scary it was so bad. This place has such great potential. I really hope they do the necessary repairs and refurbishments needed to keep this place in good condition. Overall I would recommend, just know what... More

The fitness center at the Grand Lucayan was better than I expected. There was a good selection of cardio machines, each with a TV with quite a few channel options (I'd say at least 25) which is more than I can say for my gym back home. They have a pretty good selection of weight machines and I believe there... More

My wife and I got a couples massage and it made us feel brand new. We even took before and after photo's and saw the huge difference. This place is a legitimate spa and fitness center--so what you expect to find in the ones back home is what you find there. If you stay at the Raddisson resort, then the... More

Having visited a number of gyms at hotels and resorts on various vacations, I wasn't expecting much when I went in search of the gym. I was pleasantly surprised. The gym is on the top floor which seems to be a weird choice since the spa (and therefore the massages) take place directly below, but I digress. There are an... More

We went here while we waited for our room to be ready. I had never had a massage so I didn't know what to expect. I got a swedish massage that was soooooo relaxing. The only negative was that the cd player kept skipping and that did kinda take some of the total relaxation away. The steam room was wonderful... More

like the environment and spacious rooms, however sometimes you have to wait for the arrangement or better to pre-book the spa

We went to the resort as part of a vacation package and realized afterward that the spa on the ship was way better. The facility is nice but could be done up a little better. Staff was a little cold. Stick to the massages or the fitness room for a good experience.
