We drove our rental car to this snorkelling area twice and it was definitely worth the $3 we paid for the day. The first day we went was far too windy and we could not get close enough to the reef to see all that much. The second day was much calmer and we could swim in and around the... More

Wow! What can I say. This was the best part of our vacation. First, our driver, Nathan P. came and met us in Freeport where our cruise ship docked. Our daughter wanted to stay on the boat in the kids camp, and he actually waited for us to go back in and convince her to come along with us. He... More

This is a great place to spend the entire day. Beautiful beach and a good challenging snorkel and you can go at your leisure many times during the day, without having to fight the crowds of an organized snorkeling tour. Because the reef is away from the shore the facility anchors "resting" rafts at three different locations in the reef... More

My wife and I wanted to maximize our snorkelling adventure so we chose the Paradise Cove tour as opposed to the $40 boat snorkelling tours also offered. Paradise Cove allowed up to six hours of snorkelling whereas the boat tours ($40) were 90 minutes to two hours. As well, this snorkel experience is off a beach which is much easier... More

I love to swim and snorkel although I'm not fast at all. It took awhile to get out to the island due to the wind in the area at the time. About the time we reached the reef, the rain started. And then the thunder. And the lightning. At first we were unsure whether we were safer staying by the... More

We took this trip in September of 2013. Took a cab from cruise ship port (if I recall correctly it was 16 dollars per person round rip- if your van was full). Use of facilities and beach was less than $10 for the day. They gave us a short safety talk and set us loose. We rented chairs and an... More

We picked the wrong day to snorkel here the sea was too rough, too windy and we are not proper snorkelers, just like to have my head in the water to see the beautiful fish swimming by so it's hard to say what snorkelling is like but, the beach is clean, beds can be hired there's food and drinks available,... Despite the choppy surf and abnormally cool weather, this made for a great experience. It is far less congested with tourists and vendors. There is a fee, but well worth the peace and quiet you have to enjoy the site. The water is fairly cold, but warms up about 10 yards off the beach. We saw turtles, rays, lobsters, plenty... More

I loved this place. I'm an avid scuba diver, but was on a 4-day Bahama cruise with family. We brought snorkel equipment for 4 of us and took a taxi to Paradise Cove ($10 per person each way). {Great taxi driver, gave us some history and information and was spot on picking us up to return to cruise Also, Paradise... I am not sure where to begin! Barry and his staff are beyond description! My family and I loved our day at Paradise Cove. Our group consisted of my mom, myself, my husband, my teenage son and my seven year old. There was snorkeling for my husband, older son and myself. My mom and younger son spent the day playing...
