This is greatest vacation for young families. The pool is the best - waterslide, lazy river, lagoon and a cave bar for mom and dad. The hamocks are so cool too. The kids love it so much you can't get them to the beach! The best sugar sand beach on the island is only steps away (with a play set... more

Words cannot even describe how terrible this place is. Taino Beach Resort does not know the word "SERVICE", because there is none. People here just do not know this word at all. We did not even feel we were welcomed at all. They give you your room and that's it, you are on your own. There is but one restaurant... more

If you want pretty, go to the South Pacific(Hawaii, etc.). If you want reasonable, go to Mexico (Cancun, Cozumel, Puerto Vallarta). The Bahamas offers neither, although the beach is OK. #1 The Bahamas is EXPENSIVE! 2+ bucks (USD) for a beer at the grocery store -- 6 bucks at the Taino Restaurant. Other things are 2 to 3 times the... more

I have been a timeshare member of Taino for over 10 years. Ever since the owner, Arne Petersen died things have gone from bad to veryyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy bad. You cant get replies to emails about booking a week, they do not return phone calls, the "800" number is a joke (you always get a busy signal) and have to call the... more

Taino Beach Resort is owned by the Ritz. Our hotel in Lucaya had an agreement which allowed us use of the beach by ferry. It was fantastic. They have a wonderful pool with a slide and a beach featuring picture perfect views. At the beach there were chairs and straw coverings. The beach itself wasn't crowded but was nice and... more

We went to Taino beach on a Saturday morning. Our hotel provided free ferry transport to the beach and access to facilities. On arrival we had breakfast at the restaurant which is directly on the beach. The restaurant is very tidy and the staff professional, the food was good and reasonably priced for the Bahamas. We then got hold of... more

I went to both Taino beach and Lucaya beach and thought Taino beach was much nicer and prettier, offer a longer stretch of sand. They have chairs and cute little straw umbrella stands. There are also some picnic tables and a covered patio area with tables and chairs. There is a nice restaurant on the beach which has a good... more

I have been going there every year since 2001 and plan to continue to go there every year. If you are looking for a vacation away from the hustle and bustle this is the place to go. Plenty of time to relax and take in the sights if you like. They have a pool with a slide and a bar... more

Taino Beach staff is very incompetent! Please keep all bank statements when paying maintenance fees, because if you don't you will have to pay again. Taino Beach property is "down" as they called it. Now Taino Beach Resort members are forced to pay higher fees to move to the Ritz. How fair is this? I will never purchase a timeshare... more

The natural beauty of Taino beach touch my Heart & soul. The feel of the soft sand under my feet as I walked alonged the beach was amazing. I felt so relaxed splashing the waves of the soothing water . Being a freshwater swimmer and having been so disappointed with the Altanic Ocean I didn't think I'd like the water... more
