Very pretty area with great views. The only drawback is the lack of any information on site, about the area. Its a free attraction and well worth stopping by as you walk around the island.

The Cloisters itself is on one side of the road and interesting, but there's not a lot there. Take time to walk across the street and walk through the gardens that go up to the One and Only pool (not sure they want you to do that, but it's open and we did). I wouldn't rate this as a "must... More

We enjoyed a walk to the Cloisters, the ruins of a 14th century French Monastery. The gardens are beautifully. A complete gem..

This attraction is a discovery in itself. A ruin on a sand filled island would be the best way to describe it. An awesome photo op and great for weddings. But not a ruin like the yuca tan or Central America would offer

It's a beautiful place - definitely come here for a bit of peace and quiet away from it all. If you're staying at Atlantis, just take the shuttle to the One & Only resort, and the gardens / Cloister are right behind the pool. You can also walk here if you're staying at Comfort Suites. Accessible and worth it!!

Taking a taxi from the cruise port ($4 per person one way), we enjoyed strolling through The Cloisters and the Versailles Gardens. Across the street from each other, the attractions are not to be missed if you enjoy tranquality, beauty, and lots of photo ops. Plus, they're free-yay! Versailles Gardens has statuary (including huge statues of President Franklin D. Roosevelt... More

Amazing 12th century cloister gardens! Property abuts one and only but they do not own it. You can get to it by passing their driveway and it's 100 yards up the road on both sides of the street Amazing wedding location or place to just sit and enjoy the sculptures and columns and lily gardens! The very bottom of the... More

it is at the one and only club. a security guy came and asked if we were staying at the hotel and we said no and forced us to move away from the steps leading into the hotel. You can see the Cloister with it's nice view and the gardens in the front but really we could've not done it.

The Gards themselves are beautiful, but Marten our guide made it even more memorable with all the side stories about the Gardens and the Royalty. Thanks for making the tour so much fun Marten

The gardens are extremely beautiful. It's amazing to know they were created hundreds of years ago. It's a must-see attraction.
