Do you really want a review of one of the most fabulous places on earth. Just Go. Don't ask for ice in the cafe, they don;t cater to Americans

Being on a cruise ship with thousands of passengers can be exhausting so a sidetrip to The Versailles Gardens and French Cloister on Paradise Island, Nassau, Bahamas, was a refreshing, tranquil break from the tourists and the tourist attractions. Best part of all is that it is absolutely free!! Cab fare from the cruise port was about $12 for two... More

Gorgeous, tropical setting with landscaped terraces which span the width of the island from north to south. Paradise Island is about half a mile wide and the French Cloister is on the south shore located across the street from the Versailles Garden on the north shore. You can walk from one end to the other and enjoy the beautiful statuary... More

Many of the exhibit were closed the fountains were not turned on and we had to pay an additional 8 euro just to get in. DO NOT GO ON A MONDAY! if we had gone on any other day we would have seen the gardens for free with our paris pass. it was a bunch of walking and i was... More

We enjoyed the beauty and the architecture. The moving vehicles (though limited) beyond the gardens were a bit odd.

I got married at Atlantis and had dinner at what was once called the Ocean Club. We walked over to the Versailles Gardens and French Cloister. A little bit of history in paradise.

Must See! Set on the water, a great place to take photos. Great place to take romantic photo, especially at sunset.

The Versailles Gardens is one of the most beautiful places I've ever been. We walked around the gardens and Cloister on a Sunday afternoon and were the only ones there. Very quiet and serene. Even my eight year old son was in awe of the sights. Highly recommended. This would be an amazing place to have a photographer get pics... More

Stayed at Atlantis and took shuttle to one and only to walk the grounds. The Gardens and Cloister were nice to walk around. If you have some extra time its a nice place to see, not a must see. Little kids wouldn't enjoy. I read online prior to going to get a bit of history because their isn't much posted... More

Very pretty area with great views. The only drawback is the lack of any information on site, about the area. Its a free attraction and well worth stopping by as you walk around the island.
