I paid double to swim with the dolphins here than I did to swim with them with Blue Lagoon and I hated it. We spent maybe ten minutes in the water with the dolphin and were promised at least a half hour. Our instructor was not very enthusiastic and wanted to get us out of the water as soon as... More

We did the shallow water dolphin adventure because after looking the other options, this seemed like the best value and more interaction with the dolphin....and we were right! All the other excursions where in the same area so you can see what they are doing versus what you are doing. This one had more interaction where you get to feel... More

Me, three of my children, and my nephew did a shallow water dolphin interaction. It was amazing... I'm so glad I have this memory to share with my children. If you are visiting Atlantis, you must do a dolphin interaction.... it is well worth the money spent!

We visited Atlantis as an excursion from our cruise and were very excited to visit. I think that our expectations were set quite high based on the price of this park but being from the central FL area we are pretty spoiled when it comes to water parks and this one was just good. Don't get me wrong, this place... More

The dolphin cay is a must see. Kids really enjoyed shallow water interaction. It was neat to be a spectator and the set up out there was really nice

Dolphin Cay at the Atlantis Resort was great, although the experience at Discovery Cove in Orlando, FL was better. First you're told the experience would be about 1 hour; 30 minutes getting the wet suit and orientation followed by 30 minutes with the dolphin. You're set up in groups of 10 people. Our dolphin wanted to "play" with the other... More

Unless you pay for a dolphin experience your access to Dolphin Cay is limited to an observation deck which is quite a distance from the dolphins. Inside there is a sandy beach area with chairs but not much shade. It is a fun place to sit and watch people interract with the Dolphins.

They should include swimming with the dolphins by actually grabbing them (as in other resorts), instead of just getting a push in a water board. Very very expensive.
